Advantages Light, portable, reliable and durable
Disadvantages None unless you prefer gas to charcoal
The arrival of a Weber "One Touch" GoldBarbecue to replace our trusted brick built barbeque proved to be a great day for us. First of all we noted that Weber had had a lot of experience making these things and have produced a well designed, light weight, durable product which should last for many years.
You have a choice of two colours - Black or dark green - "Gold" is just a product name. The product is fine as it comes, but a range of accessories provides for those that seek a few extras. We found the clip on work table to be a valuable addition.It was quickly found out that use of charcoal brickettes is much, much better than trying to use traditional charcoal. Lighting proved to be easy enough and the guidance provided in the liturature gets you started with confidence.
We quickly found that we could forget the days of hit & miss barbeque cooking. The particular shape of the unit ensures oven like cooking with very good end results. The unit will even cook a whole turkey!Cleaning is not a problem either.
