...lunch. I opted for a Weight Watchers Chicken Fajita Wrap, rather than the rather delicious-sounding all day breakfast sandwiches (not by Weight Watchers, needless to say).
Weight Watchers food is provided by Gibsons Foods, based in Cheshire, and they provide calorie controlled meals, snacks, and treats for those who are watching the calorie intake (e.g. me, 25% of the time)
***Packaging****
The wrap is presented ... ...down with cheese, and the Weight Watcher's cheddar is so bland anyway, maybe it is a blessing that it is absent from this meal.
***Nutritional Info***
The wrap contains 271 calories, and 1.8g of saturated fat, that's 4.5 points (your allowed 20 points a day on the WW plan, so just under a ¼ of your daily allowance). So is well within any dieters' lunching requirements, and leave room for a tiny bit of extra snackage. Ah, whats ... more
I wrote this review well over a month ago, and the proposal link has only just come through, but now seems the best possible time to put it on, now that everyone is tyring to get back into the good habits after that festive period with endless amounts of chocolates being rammed down our throats at the speed of light.
***Background*** I have just strolled downstairs to the onsite shop to get my lunch. I opted for a Weight Watchers Chicken Fajita Wrap, rather than the rather delicious-sounding all day breakfast sandwiches (not by Weight Watchers, needless to say).

***Packaging**** The wrap is presented in Weight Watchers' usual bland packaging. It is in a clear plastic bag, with a white card protecting the wrap. I think Weightwatchers get it wrong from the word 'go' with packaging. The boring presentation doesn't exactly grab your attention, and is more likely to put people off. It could be more exciting-looking, but is instead written off as boring diet food. However, it is.
It states the name of the product, and describes it as coming, "with marinated chicken, lettuce, roasted red and yello peppers, salsa and sour cream." It also states the date (2 days from today), with the price, £2.39, which is a wee bit steep for your average wrap, and that is exactly what this is. Average.
***Taste*** The chicken is less marinated, and more sludgy, and I am failing to detect even the slightest hint of sour cream (I may be watching the calories, but I'm entitled to a wee bit of dairy, surely?!). The flour wrap itself is also, average, a bit too floury, and a bit too big, meaning that there's more wrap than there is filling. I feel this wrap would be made better if it were a cheesy Fajita wrap, but I'm guessing that it is hard to keep calories down with cheese, and the Weight Watcher's cheddar is so bland anyway, maybe it is a blessing that it is absent from this meal.

The product does contain wheat, gluten, milk, mustard and celery (wow, that comes a shock, I didn't find a single bit in mine), so if you're allergice to these things, steer clear.
The address for Weight Watchers is Customer Care, Gibsons Foods, Cheshire, CH65 3DZ.
***My Opinion*** I would suggest this meal solution to anyone, as long as that person does not care what they are eating, or does not give two hoots about taste, and is looking for a quick solution. If you enjoy food like I do, I wouldn't bother. I don't think much of the rest of the food in the range, I think, I the packaging is bland, the food is too, and not really worth the high prices charged, go to Boots or M&S for your wraps instead, at least there, you get what you pay for.
...the prepared sandwiches. A particular Weight Watchers selection caught my eye; several wraps ranging from Chicken Caesar to Fajita. Checking the date on a Chicken Fajita Wrap, I realised that it still had two days until it expired, so I thought it was worth popping into the trolley and saving for lunch the next day!
So, raring to try the new-to-me product, I sat myself down at lunch time, with the wrap now out of its plastic wrapper and cardboard ... ...also stated so! Being a Weight Watchers product, the nutritional information was clearly printed on the cardboard, claiming that it held just 4 Weight Watchers points, and a total of just 274 calories per wrap. Considering a normal tortilla wrap alone contains around 100 calories, I'd say that is pretty good! It also has less than 1g of saturated fat per whole wrap, when a normal tortilla has around 1.2g saturated fat alone!
This is definitely a ...
