Having adored the majority of the Weight Watchers yoghurts so far, I was eager to sample the scrumptious-looking prune yoghurts the brand was offering, but unfortunately couldn't find them anywhere! Though, I couldn't stop that little yelp of joy that escaped from my lips when I stumbled across a pack of six in Asda for the tiny price of just £1!

On the flimsy cardboard cover that the little pots come in, there is an image of a spoon, mounted on top of several delicious-looking prunes. On this spoon there can be seen a mound of the yoghurt. It seemed that the creamy dessert was a faded brown colour (not the most appealing sight, I'll admit) with specks of prune through it. If I'm perfectly honest, I didn't think it looked too appetising, however I had every faith in Weight Watchers and decided to give them a try!

As eager as I was to sample, I was unfortunately feeling a little under the weather (think I'm going to blame the surprising temperature change), so I decided to wait until the next day. By this point, the craving inside me was ready to burst! I peeled back the lid to reveal the contents hidden inside the little 120g pot. What I discovered was that, in actual fact, the yoghurt looked exactly as stated. The dessert didn't have much of a scent to it either, though I could detect the faint scent of prune.

Surprisingly not put off by the grotesque appearance of the dessert, in dived my spoon and flew up into my mouth. I was shocked when I didn't shudder at a repulsive taste, but actually smiled with glee at a delightful sensation! The yoghurt tasted strongly of prune; a fruity yet tangy flavour. I could just make out a slightly vanilla-based flavour hidden in there too. The creamy texture of the yoghurt was amazing, though didn't go too fantastically with the gritty prune pieces. However, it was still 'stomachable'!

Weight Watchers
----------------------
Weight Watchers is a world wide company, which not only offers help and support for dieters and those trying to slim or just eat healthy, but they also provide a wide range of food products for everybody to enjoy!

Weight Watchers holds local meetings throughout the UK for members to attend for that little extra help and support, but also provides plenty of information on the internet, as well as producing a variety of books and magazines, which are all crammed with top tips and hints!
They have a points system, rather than counting calories. This makes it easier to calculate how much you can eat in a day!

Like myself, not everybody who enjoys Weight Watchers products needs them - they are suitable for anybody! They often provide a much healthier alternative, which is probably the reason why I personally choose to use them, but they also have a wide variety of foods available, many of which simply taste much nicer! Though, I can imagine for those who do require these products for weight loss, I can only assume they work!

Verdict…?
--------------
I was quite uneasy about sample this yoghurt, in case a negative experience affected my overall opinion with Weight Watchers products, but unfortunately that didn't happen! Hand on my heart; I will honestly say that out of all this Weight Watchers yoghurts I have tried before, this comes second last in the favourites list, just beating Pink Grapefruit by a hair.

I think the image on the front of the packaging is enough to put people off, especially those who are not overly fussed with prunes! Though, I adore them myself, and could eat them non-stop. I think that, if you are not fanatic for the fruit, then the taste of the yoghurt is a bit disturbed, to say the least! And the sight…well that's enough to put anybody off!

They're quite healthy, which is one of the few benefits of these particular yoghurts, with just 1 Weight Watchers point per fat-free yoghurt, and a mere 62 calories! Comparing them to many other yoghurts on the market, which are often full-fat or high in calories, that's quite grand!

So, giving the bland aroma, sickening appearance and peculiar taste, I will recommend these, but only if you have a strong stomach!
