COST: £1.36 PLACE OF PURCHASE: Sainsburys CALORIES: 164 cals BRAND: weightwatchers WEIGHT: 2X 180g NUMBER IN BOX: two
As a self concious and exceptionally vain female, everything I eat is checked for calorific content before being purchased. However I'm a complete slave to chocolate which makes it really hard to shop. Things end up going into the basket, carried around the corner of the aisles, and usually replaced by something else I fancy thats lower in calories, until i come across something else and thus this proceedure continues until I end up with just an apple. Obviously I'm a total nightmare for any supermarket shelf stacker who has to run around putting everything back. But I'm sure they wouldn't want me looking plump and ugly, because everyone likes something nice to look at and talk to.
Thats why I adore these lovely chocolately and toffee puddings from weightwatchers. Only 164 calories per pudding, thats like three apples, but tastes a million times better!
Packaging: Cardboard box in a purple and white design with the weightwatchers logo on the front and the barcode and nutritional value information on the reverse in a white text box. The puddings themselves come in a frosted white round yoghurt pot style container. Which is perfect for eating from. Or you can remove and place on to a plate if desired when defrosted.
Taste: Can be eaten frozen or chilled. Although on the pack it suggests defrosting for 40 minutes at room temperature sometimes I simply cannot wait and am guilty of eating it frozen. Yes it does hurt your teeth a little bit, especially the frozen sponge bit but this may just be because I have sensitive teeth. The puddings themselves are arranged inlayers, lets start with the top; rich chocolate fudge sauce layered over toffee mouse, sweet rich and sticky toffee sauce over the top of a toffee flavoured sponge layer. If eaten frozen it's this sponge layer thats hard and ice like, but the mousse tastes alot like ice cream and the toffe is harder and is gorgeous if you like chocolate bars like Cadburys' CurlyWhirly. If eaten as recommended, and you have the pateince, then the smooth toffee mouse and toffee sauce are less chewwy and more like a youghurt dessert. The sponge is light and soft and the chocolate fudge sauce is to die for and will have you licking the very last bit from the sides of the tub. The only downside is that it doesnt fill you up, although low in calories, which is because theres very little sugar in it, instead they pile it high with artifical sweeteners one of which is the evil aspartame, I know i know, it will cause mental retardation, could trigger diabetes and is illegal in most countries. However I gave up on life recently and so don't care anymore. I'm going to die sometime. I'm single and my family has let go, so won't be missed, might as well die young beautiful and happy. Nutritional Value stuff; per pudding; 164 cals, 3.2g fat (of which 2.2g are saturates), 4.4g protein [good for healthy nails and skin] and 31.5g carbohydrate [the carbs].
Overall a 4 star rating, these are gorgeous - and you're sure to love them, especially if you love goey caramel-like soft toffee and/or chocolate. Even tasty eaten frozen, if like me you can't wait 40 minutes & it doesn't taste bad - like ice cream :) Recommended to any chocolic watching their weight and doesn't mind sacrificing their mental health in aid of achieving a perfect figure.
Thanks for reading, Best wishes & love to all, mintz x x x

...world full of chocolate!
Weight watchers do a great selection of desserts! And this one just happens to be my favorite, pure heaven! in a pot!
***Packaging / Presentation ***
You get two desserts in a pack. The desserts are in clear plastic pots and then supported by a cardboard packaging which holds them in place.
The box is purple, with the weight watchers from heinz logo on one side, and the title 2 Toffee Chocolate Desserts on the other, ... ...***
For those on the Weight Watchers diets, there are 3 points in each dessert.
There are 164 calories in each dessert and only 3.5% fat, so a 96.5% fat free product with relatively low calories, who can resist!
***Cost ***
These desserts range anywhere from £1.19 to £1.49 in most supermarkets. Sainsburys are curently doing them on offer at 99p! So in my opinion they are good value for money, without the temptation of eating the rest of the dessert ...

Advantages: Just enough of it in a portion, delicious, chocolatey, low fat - yay!!! Disadvantages: Time it takes to defrost.
Although I'm not actually on a diet at the moment, as we creep closer to summer I am beginning to watch what I eat - salad, fruit, exercise, no chips, crisps etc... Unfortunately I love chocolate so whilst that should be on my banned list, it isn't... or wasn't until I spotted these in the frozen section of my local supermarket. They were on offer at 99p and professed to contain chocolate as well as being low fat so I just had to try them!
'Tempting ... ...and finished with a chocolate fudge sauce.' Or at least thats how the packet describes it - and it's spot on! The bottom layer is the sponge - a light and airy sponge that tastes of coffee rather than toffee but not sickeningly so. The layer is quite thin which is perfect as it does not lie too heavily on your stomach. Next is the toffee sauce. It is lovely and creamy, in perfect contrast with the mousse. Smooth on the tongue, it provides a strong ...
