This book, at the moment, surprised me when I looked it up in amazon and saw it at 1p I didn't expect that! Anyway, this book is a book by the best horror author ever, R. L. Stine. This author is great because he draws you into the book from the very first chapters! He describes places very well using adjectival phrases whenever possible.

This book is the first in the series called Goosebumps, the age for it is 8-12, but I think it should be in teenage fiction or young adult, seriously young teenagers will get frightened, I certainly did, and had to finish the book in that day just incase I get a bit freaked out. I love horror books no doubt about that, but always after I finish it I look at certain things. Like when I finished a book about zombies in hyperventilating systems, everywhere I saw a hyperventilating system, I had to back away from it. It freaked me out! This book did exactly the same, I wouldn't go near Gothic houses or graveyards. Even though I'm a goth.

Anyway, this book jumped off my shelf lept into my arms and started making me read it! It was interesting the descriptive made me feel like I was there, or I was a person watching all this happen. These are the sort of books that are so great, because a few measly words and you think someone's telling you how it is. I was shocked at some things and suspicious to others.

I didn't know who to trust! "Welcome to dead house" title doesn't give such an insight into it and doesn't really relate to the book to be honest. At the start, using the title, you would expect there is ghosts living in the house, as you get further into it, you sort of doubt it, until they look at the names on the gravestones...

That's all I'm saying, it's a total must read for all horror lovers, even if you are really old, you'll love it! My grandparents, loved this book, so did my mom and my auntie, I'm reading the 2nd one soon, there will be a review on it pretty soon please rate it when you have the time

I hope I haven't given too much info away, I don't think I have anyway.
