This is the sequel to French Relations and if anything is even better than the first. It continues the story of Tash and her manic love live and includes many of the characters from French Relations, though leaving out the ones that I found annoying, which was great.
Once again I found myself wishing that I was Tash, or at least that I live her life as she stumbles her way along getting the wrong end of the stick at every conceivable opportunity.

Read this book, it's probably the best book that I've ever read!
Advantages: Hilariously funny and romantic Disadvantages: Erm... none!
...start making strange noises? Yup, well that was me last week. I just happened to be reading 'Well Groomed', a book by Fiona Walker... and as a result I was struggling not to laugh out loud. Instead, I looked like an idiot. But this book was so good that I really didn't care!
'Well Groomed' is the sequel to 'French Relations' and chronicals the life and loves of Tash French following her return to Berkshire with Niall O'Shaugnessy in tow. It begins ... ...characters, like Zoe (Penny's sister) to inspire even more laughs than the first book did. We see Tash becoming accustomed to being an actor's girlfriend, a stable girl and being madly in love with... well, no - we won't go there! Niall and Tash attend a dinner in Niall's honour with the rest of Tash's family in tow. It being Christmas and having an insane family, it is no surprise that when Tash wears a ring from a cracker on an unfortunate finger ...

In ‘Well Groomed’, Fiona Walker continues the story of Tash French, started in the novel ‘French Relations’. A misunderstanding leads to Tash and her actor-boyfriend, Niall, getting engaged – not that they mind as they think that this is exactly what they wanted anyway. There are plenty of the old characters from ‘French Relations’ here: Alexandra, Pascal and Hugo are all there, along with some new characters who all add to the madness of the story ...

Advantages: Reading Well Groomed after French Relations is a great opportunity to follow up some really interesting characters. The book does not disappoint and is extremely hard to put down. An excellent book which I have no problem reading again and again! Disadvantages: Being such a good book it is really a shame to have to put it down wherever you are in the book to carry on with your normal life!
When I read French Relations a while ago I found it extremely amusing and enjoyable. Then when I found the sequel I couldn't wait to read it and it didn't disappoint. Following most of the characters from the first book it gives us the chance to enjoy new storylines and themes, new secrets and problems, and it gives all the characters a chance to resolve everything which was left hanging in the first book. Also the characters involved range from ... ...either see bits of themselves or other people. As a stand-alone book it is also very enjoyable, there is no need to read both books to enjoy both books anyway. If you enjoy scatty, funny and interesting characters then read any of Fiona Walkers novels because I have not read one so far which I did not enjoy. ...

Advantages: funny, warm, witty, great characters Disadvantages: could have done without the horses!
FionaWalker's first offering is one of her best- just make sure you read this BEFORE you read "WellGroomed" as that is the sequel to this and will give too much away!
Tash French is extremely tall, extremely awkward and has just been abandoned by her boyfriend Max. Luckily, her mother has invited her over to her huge house in the Loire Valley for the summer along with a bunch of other people, both related and otherwise. To most, that would sound like a lovely idea. To Tash, it sounds like hell.
A variety of other characters are planning an assault on the French valleys too and these people are gradually introduced to us before they arrive at the house. There's Tash's social-climbing sister Sophia and her husband Ben and family; her brother Matty and his wife Sally and kids; her aunt Cassie, who is about to find out that not only ...
Advantages: humourous and romantic at the same time. an easy read Disadvantages: need some spare time because difficult to put down!
What a great book! What a great author! Kiss Chase was the first book I read by FionaWalker, and I hadnt read a book in 2 years. Since reading Kiss Chase i have read Snap Happy, WellGroomed and French Relations. I am currently reading Between Males and that seems just as good so far!
Right, here's the best bit, the plot. (sorry if it seems confusing but you'll figure it out when you read the book!) Saskia Seaton went to school with a girl called pheobe fredericks. They didnt get on but used to pretend they did as thier parents were very good friends. Now they had gone their seperate ways and only saw each other occasionly.
Saskia went out with this gorgeous model/actor bloke called Felix Sylivan. He dumped her though- and it was not a nice way of dumping someone either! She enlists Pheobe in a plan to get even with Felix. However ...

When Tash French's potty grandmother mistakes a Christmas cracker engagement ring for the genuine article, a wedding of astronomical proportions is planned. Swept away by everyone's enthusiasm, Tash and her partner, Niall, can do little but laugh and go along with it. After all, they had meant to marry all along, hadn't they? As the wedding plans escalate, however, Tash starts to have doubts. Niall, a rising acting star, is always working away from home, forgetting important dates and falling in love with his leading ladies, and her own eyes keep wandering to a roguish fellow event rider.
