    The book I will review is - “West end girls - Jenny Colgan”. Lizzie and Penny are twins, but couldn’t be more different if they tried. After a reasonably unsuccessful trip to London to make her fortune, their mother Eilish came back with not one, but two reminders of her time there and of the love rat that then dumped her! Now 27 years later things couldn’t be more different, or stagnant! Penny is vivacious, beautiful, thin and seems to have the ideal existence.     With a long train journey ahead of me and nothing to read, I stepped into the bookstore, looking for something light to keep me occupied. Being somewhat of a bower bird the shiny cover of this book (mine's different from the one pictured) attracted me so I picked it up and bought it. A little light entertainment was just what I needed.     West End Girls follows twin sisters Lizzie and Penny as they embark on a new life in London. The main charcters of the book Penny and Lizze are twin sisters who are complete opposites, whilst Penny is confident, thin, and outrageous Lizzie is more thoughtful, quite and not thin ( not really sure what weight has to do with anything but Jenny felt this was an important point to get across) anyway the twins do have one thing in common and that wanting to do something more with their lives then live with their mom.
