been a fantastic device, has never failed to boot and loads applications very smoothly if you wished to save internal HD space. however if USB 2 is too slow for you, western digital do offer firewire ports which can up to 3,200 Mbit/s Max.
The unit itself is a bit bulky but personally i like the design as it looks quite good if it is sat on the desk or on top of the machine.
