...small children would not particulary like this sauce due to the spicyness and hotness of the peppercorns. We normally have a jar between us and mix it in with everything rather than the chicken but this is up to you how you use it. When I was cooking this sauce my mouth was watering as I like a lot of their whitesauces.
Their cooking guidelines. is to preheat your oven to 180oc and cook your chicken as normal until nearly cooked and for the last hour pour in the sauce and stir and cook for a further hour.
Another way is to pan fry your chicken and add the sauce in the last 20 mins of cooking.
If you like bits and pieces in your sauces or garlic you can add these or vegetables your self to make it a chunky sauce.
The nutritional value is not that bad really for a creamy sauce and the Energy is 88kcal, Carbs1.7g Sats 1.1g fibre .5g, sodium...

The Homepride white wine and cream cook-in-sauce came in a 500g tin. The label, blue and yellow, shows a picture of a plate with chicken cooked in the sauce, with the famous and familiar Fred behind it, arms stretched as if to say, "Look what you can make with this sauce"
The label recipe suggests using chicken, but as the sauce is suitable for vegetarians too, you can really use whatever you want.

On the description on the back, it says it is a prefect peppered sauce, smooth and creamy with the unmistakable 'bite' of green peppercorns to give your chicken a touch of magic.
Ingredients: water, sunflower oil, onions, mushrooms,spirit vinegar, modified starch, cream(1.5%), salt,sugar, egg yolk, fructose, green peppercorns (0.5%), stabiliser (Xanthan Gum), flavourings, black pepper, white pepper abd colours (sulphite ammonia caramel, beta-carotene)
