======== Wet is an action packed third person shooter through the eyes of a female samurai wielding badass, named Rubi. Its grind house cinema graphics set it distinctively apart from other shooters of this genre. It has more gun toting slow motion gun play since the matrix and bullet-time is back! The lead character Rubi is the kind of gal who really doesn't care if she creates some dead bodies as long as there is fat cheque to collect at the end of a mission. Missions include finding brief cases, executions and revenge.
Wet is a straight forward action game split up into twelve chapters which will take around 6-8 hours to complete. After which challenge mode will unlock, where you will play in isolated maps from the single player campaign to obtain the highest score possible. Points are given by killing enemies and jumping through rings of fire in slow motion all of which encourages you to play the game in the most stylish manner possible.
The truth is everything enjoyable in Wet can be experience in ONE play through.
Her physics bending aerobatic moves and fiery weaponry are all designed to make the game look cool. Unfortunately it isn't that satisfying because new combat moves that are unlocked either feel useless or should have been available from the start.
The control system works well, if while jumping or sliding by pulling the right trigger will initiate slow motion. One of your guns then auto-locks onto the closest enemy and the secondary can be aimed by you. You will typically spend the entire game sliding from room to room blasting large number of enemies until they've all been dispatched.
So not surprisingly although the slow motion moves are fun the game becomes a repetitive slog of emptying rooms of enemies. Their are some changes of pace including Gatling guns, a car chase scenario and Rubi blood rage. Rubis' rage turns the screen red and she turns into a killing machine, but still in this mode there are no new moves.
Overall Wet contains some great ideas but it just doesn't apply them properly and so can't be described as a good game. If you don't take it too seriously I guess you won't mind it being rough around the edges.
Advantages: good game - fast paced - violence level is good Disadvantages: some scenes are highly irritating
This game seriously reminded me of Killbill, even though the girl in the game has totally different looks; she is very familiar with how she reacts to situations that may arise... You start as a woman called Rubi, a combat efficient woman who is able to fight in any situation you may arrise to... You gain your skills throughout the game and you will learn new combat methods and fighting methods as you progress. You can do some kick-ass moves if you ... ...gun and you are able to pull off a slow motion effect to which you have no limit to do! Which means, awesome slow-motion scenes in HD! In comparison, the game reminds me of Mirror's Edge, it has a similar feel, but a totally different scenario... And you can use some cool weapons like Dual-wielded pistols, or shotguns or even a crossbow! and so on... The game is very gory and you can see some very high-gore moments in the cut-scenes, which is total ...

Advantages: Gunplay Mechanics are Fun, Fast Paced Action, Full of Great Moments, Soundtrack aint to bad Disadvantages: Acrobatics don't work to well, Graphics are pretty bland, Bad dialogue, Gets repetitive
Wet is a fast paced third person shooter game that is basically a weak ripoff of stranglehold.
Wet's gleefully bloody combat is a combination of high-flying acrobatics and brutal gunplay that is consistently entertaining, despite some rough movement mechanics. It borrows heavily from 2007s Stranglehold and adds little to the main gameplay apart from some quicktime events and some light platforming.
The run and gun gameplay is entertaining and fun, ... ...however in true stranglehold style.
Overall, Wet isn't a particularly pretty game, and a lingering awkwardness can interrupt the acrobatic platforming from time to time. The action is thick and fast but isn't as good as Stranglehold and with the limited weapons and gameplay it soon becomes boring. ...

Advantages: fun game play, great new features, great sound and music Disadvantages: repetitive, easy ending
Wet for Xbox 360 is a fun new kind of shooter in my opinion. The unique aerobatic style brings a lot of entertainment to the game. Being able to shoot while sliding across the floor, running across the wall, and basically anytime you want no matter what move you are doing I think is great. Another cool feature for this game is that the main character has a gun in each hand and they actually made it so that one gun auto-aims while you aim with the ... ...in the way that it did. How the main character handles it all is very entertaining. So all and all Wet is a fun run and gun shooter game with a lot of fun ways to take down the enemy and has a interesting and entertaining story line to boot. ...
