Once I was so lonely and I cried most every night, Depression, fear and pain, I tried so hard to fight It fast become a problem, no reason left to live I cared for people all my life, had nothing left to give. Until one day I ventured in to try a new web site That was recommended by someone, another in my plight. The site of course was Ciao and Iíve been here for a while. Itís given me something to do and often makes me smile. Now the lady that had sent me here and helped me from the start, Is someone that we all hold dear, she has a great big heart. I cannot keep you guessing long, so now Iíll say her name Thingywhatsit or just Rachel, to me itís all the same. This lady has a heart of gold, Iím sure youíll all agree That many of you know her and love her just like me. He life has not been easy, she has suffered much distress But has learnt to overcome it and has done her very best. To welcome and to share advice, to give a little part, To all those who are feeling blue she opens up her heart. She is very well respected, not afraid to speak her mind, But her wisdom is so subtle and she never is unkind. Her reviews are all a pure delight; her writing is an art, The descriptions of her countryside, A joy right from the start. Iíve read them all with wonder, as she makes it seem so real, That Iím walking right beside her and can glimpse what she must feel. I cannot match her poetry, I hold her in such awe, Indeed compared to what she writes, my efforts seem so poor. I cannot thank her quite enough; Iíd really like to say, Rachel you give so very much, I hope I can repay. All the kinds words that youíve written, the message you convey,
I know I speak for everyone, each person thatís been blessed, With the warmth of your deep feelings that put us to the test. Can we ever thank you quite enough as well as you deserve? Can we ever hope to do the same, to seek out and to serve? To learn from you the patience to help others in their way, To live our lives in thankfulness as we grow from day to day. You are our guide and our dear friend; we thank you very much, For kindness and for caring for each person that you touch. So little left for me to say, but oh so much to do. Before I can be stronger, so I send my love to you.
You may not think this is the right category, but I'm feeling happy today to say a big thank you to Rachel, who inspires me and helps to make others happy too.
