What I would do if I won the lottery

MY VIEW.

Well I've been doing the lottery for a few months now, via a syndicate at work.

There are 14 of us and we all put a pound a week in, most weeks we win nothing at all (which is annoying), and even when we do win its only a small amount of £10, which isn't even worth spending or sharing out, so we just plough it back in, and buy more tickets.

As for winning, i suppose i have as much chance as anybody else, not that it feels like it.

Now we come to the nitty gritty, what would i spend it on....................

I do have a couple of debts i.e loans etc, so i guess the 1st thing id do would be to pay those debts off (oh to be debt free, happy days) i haven't been in this situation for a long time now, cant remember what it feels like, but i bet it would be damn good.

The next thing i would do, would be to pay off my mum & dads mortgage, cos I'm nice like that, afterall they have spent alot of money on me, when they were bringing me up lol, it would be nice to give something back, so they can work less and enjoy the finer things in life, like more holidays and time off.

Next thing would definitely be to book a holiday somewhere hot, i could do with some sun, sea, sand and relaxation, it would also be nice to go on holiday, and not worry about how much I'm spending lol, think i would definitely go for about a month, maybe more.

Back to earth with a bump, if you can call having alot of money, coming back to earth with a bump, i should be wise and invest it really, maybe buy some houses to rent out, so I'm financially secure for the rest of my life, I'm not sure investing it in things like stocks and shares is for me, too much risk involved, now of course id buy myself a new car, nothing too flashy, id quite like a BMW he he, a nice alpina would be nice (its a normal bmw but lowered, more powerful engine,skirts etc), and of course it would have to be a cabriolet (not that you get to use it much in this country mind you), but then i could afford the petrol money to go abroad so i could go hot climates in it, id get the top spec one and put a cracking stereo system in it, with dvd, CD, Md, xbox you name it id have it, would be good fun buying lots of new gadgets to play with, yeah i know typical man, boys and there toys.

Id quite like to own a pub, so i might even invest in that aswell, i would let someone else run it, as i dont want to get up early and finish late, i just like the whole running a pub, thing, i think id be quite good at it, id have my own pool team, darts teams, and any other team i could fit in, id want my pub to be full up with people having fun, its nice to see people happy.

Then of course id have to buy myself a nice house to live in, (god do i have enough money for all this?) i wouldn't want shed loads of bedrooms, just 3 or 4 bedrooms, all en suite, fully fitted with lots more gadgets, a cracking kitchen so i could entertain when i wanted to, and an indoor heated swimming pool.

As you can see, i dont want much, and of course it wouldn't change me

Who says money doesn't buy you happiness? it would go along way to making me happy that's for sure.

Oh i forgot, of course id buy all my family and friends a nice drink, or even 2 if i like them more who knows.Dave
