...I bought a copy of What Mortgage, a magazine that they had used a few years previous to remortgage their house. I was sceptical as I like to do my reasearch on the internet, and worried that it may be a little technical. However, the magazine has its own website which is excellent, and has a great links section to lenders and other peoples websites.
The magazine itself was really useful, at the time I also bought a couple of other magazines and ... ...useful and I could check what they offered me using the tables in the magazine. I was just going to use my estate agent to sort the mortgage out as she had already offered me a deal, but comparing that with the best possible deal for me in What Mortgage, it literally saved me over £11K !!.
Excellent, and I will use it again.
