We bought the top of the range Whirlpool 20 SI L4 American Fridge Freezer, which the pumbed into mains water for the ice maker and water chiller. However within a week a pipe burst and flooded our new kitcken, the engineer was out quickly and fixed the leek but noted that it wasn't uncommon the areas with high water pressure. He also pointed out that the water filter was jammed and should be replaced. Just over one week later, fortunatly whilst we were at home, the ice maker started to make more and more ice untill the freezer compartment was full, so when we opened the door a heep of ice fell out onto the floor, the ice maker was still making more ice so we switched to freezer off. The engineer called and switched the freezer on, after one hour exactly he conclued that it seemed okay now untill I pointed out that the water in the freezer compartment had not frozen, which he agreed didn't seem right, so agreed to order parts. 4 weeks later we're still waiting. Beware this is the worst freezer I have ever had.
