Firstly there is no automatic defrost with this model and a regular defrost routine is advised as after a while the drawers will start to jam. We actually found that the freezer shelf elements are not securely fixed into the recesses in the freezer walls (they slide in and are restrained by the rear pipe structure) and as a result slightly shift during use and cause drawer jams. The freeing of the drawers means removing all the drawers then reinstalling carefully - then its OK for a while. It is possible that they have shifted during transit but I have checked them - this problem could possibly be a design compromise to reduce cost but is definitely a flaw for the end user. The freezer also has no temperature gauge or internal light which we did not notice during purchase - so overall whilst low cost this freezer lacks the basic essentials of a freezer.
The assessment overall is it remains a good value low end model that lacks the bare essentials - we are now considering a new purchase spending a bit more cash to move up the range a little and I advise the same. Find a little more cash and move up the range.
