Advantages Good price
Disadvantages Looks plain
I bought this fridge around a year ago after the old Panasonic packed up after many years of faithful service.
The Whirlpool fridge I bought from Currys because it was cheap and just a fridge with no fancy easy to use (easy to break) extras. Four days later and I had welcomed the fridge into my kitchen and by the next day it was cool enough to use. Soon it was full of the usual, salad, drinks, meat etc.The fridge was quite noisy the first day but I thought it was normal and nothing to worry about. The next day it was the same shuddering slightly and making a distinguishable whirring. Other than that I cannot fault it, it is very easy to use once you get used to bending down to use a fridge. It is easy to clean and doesn't ice up. It will hold enough food and drinks to last you 2 weeks withought going shopping again and I think its looks although plain and bland look great.
I paid £199 for this fridge which is a good price as Whirlpool is a good make. I have seen much more expensive fridges costing more than £1000 which I think is ridiculous, who wants to surf the net and watch television on the fridge, its mad. So for a no frills fridge this Whirly wont let you down.Detailed Rating
