Whirlpool ARC7593

We got this fridge-freezer last May, as a replacement for an earlier model which had broken down. When it worked it was just what we needed. It is a good size, reasonably priced for a frost-free freezer; but, it's unreliable. The new one broke down within three weeks and despite several service visits is still not working now in September. What takes the time is that all replacement parts have had to be imported from Italy, taking 10-15 days to arrive. After a visit from a proper refrigeration engineer (not from Whirlpool), it seems that the fault lies in the same circuit board that failed in the old fridge. Amazingly, Whirlpool don't seem to keep spares of this in the UK.

Advantages: Plenty of fridge space
Disadvantages: Mechanically very troublesome

...of which 3 years only have elapsed. My only gripe now is that they are insisting on delivering another similar fridge freezer. The last thing I want is another Whirlpool. I just hope I am entitled to vouchers. The one they are offering me is the ARC7593 which has a slightly smaller capacity. Does anyone know if I can insist on the exact same capacity as the ARC7612. Hopefully they will not be able to do this and will have to give me vouchers. Anyway in a nutshell. This has been a useless fridge freezer and Whirlpool customer service is poor. My 'Whatever Happens' policy states that they will attend a faulty appliance withing 48 hours. This has never been the case and on one occasion the best they could offer me was in excess of 2 weeks from the date of my phone call.
