WHILE I BOUGHT IT I HAD NO PROBLEM WHIT IT BUT ONE OF MY FRIEND BOUGHT ANOTHER MARK OF FREDGE AND FREEZER AND HE TOOK IT TWICW TO TO REPAIR SO I RECOMEND YOU TO BUY WHIRLPOOL, Extra capacity than normal. Extra width than the standard F/F to utilise available space. Dedicated compartments for various types of food. Separate chiller compartment for fresh meat, poultry and fish. Storage space on the freezer door. Quiet operation.

I'm a fan of Whirlpool products and this is no exception. We paid £156-00 (excluding delivery) from Sainsbury's.
It arrived well packaged, and after letting it settle after transport and turing it on, it was quickly at a nice cool temperature.
It has Auto Defrost facility (as you would expect with most fridges today) but one nice little touch is the lips on the glass...

...About the ARC7593, which you were recommended as a replacement - we were given one as a replacement after a previous fridge-freezer collapsed, and it has been trouble ever since.
It hasn't worked properly since we got it in June (it is now October).
After much discussion with refrigeration engineers (not from Whirlpool) the problem seems to be in the electronic module that controls most functions, from the lightswitch to the defrost cycle. When it starts, the freezer part overheats while trying to defrost, which melts the plastic fan that is supposed to send cold air to the fridge. It makes a loud rattling noise.After 4 days, the fridge packs up. A temporary cure is to defrost very thoroughly - a day or more, so it isn't possible to keep food. We've been promised a replacement, for two months. If you're getting one, good luck...
