Well Christmas Eve saw us left without a washing machine as ours decided that it wanted to pack up. This was a pain, as we wanted to get our last bit of washing done and out the way for the next day. Well we had to wait to get Christmas day out of the way and decided to wait till the sales got in full swing. Anyway it is now New Years Eve and there were plenty of places for us to look at now. Firstly we looked online to see what machines were on offer in the various stores, we looked at the usual, Dixons, Argos, Curry?s and Comet etc. Then we saw an ad on tv and went to the Miller Bros website to look the offer over.
Our previous washing machine was also a Whirlpool and it lasted for about six years so we got a fair bit of use out of it. Rather than get it fixed and incur labour charges that can make up most of the bills we saw ...
Advantages: Push button...compared to dials Disadvantages: Whirlpool maintenance men could take a while to fix it

3)Electronic Oven Control - This is the area with the clock setting, oven temperatures, the minute timer and for the light to be on or off in your oven. (there is also another electronic light button that comes on as soon as you open the oven door)
4)Control panel - Controls all four burners.
My last and most favorite feature...the Broiler (I use it all of the time!) There is a button on the Electronic Oven Control to work the broiler's temperature settings.
Whirlpool Gas Range comes with a full one year warranty (and other optional warranty plans). The Whirlpool company will also pay for parts and labor for defects in their materials. The only thing I do not like is that you have to let the Whirlpool service company work on these sort of problems... and with the Whirlpool Customer Service guys doing it...DO NOT plan ...

I am writing this complaint as a last resort after many hours and money spent trying to resolve this situation. We installed Whirlpool appliance model # RBD275PDS14 (double wall oven) with serial number XR4311868 3 years ago. The following is a chronological list by date of what had transpired regarding our earnest attempts to have our oven repaired.
Saturday June 2, 2007: Upper oven was in use at a temperature of 250 degrees. The upper oven outer glass shattered.
Friday, June 9, 2007: Called Whirlpool Customer Service @ 1-800-253-1301, and was told that I needed replacement part # 9759072. Part was ordered with order number 1-285635706 at a cost of $105.82.
Wednesday, June 13, 2007: Received the replacement part #9759072 and my husband tried to install new front glass ...
