...The whirlpool awo/d4505 is a fab washing machine! Altogether there are 4 of us in the house, and I have to do at least 2 loads a day! We have had the machine for 18 months now, and it has never had a problem. There are so many different cycles that you can always find one not only to suit your washing needs but also your timing too. My washing always comes out clean, smelling great - which isn't my experience with previous machines ive had. I use the brilliant 30 minute wash a lot. I have so much to get through, to be able to do a small load and have it drying is fantastic, rather than every load lasting a long time - especially with school uniforms that get yoghurt and paint down them and need to washed and dried by the next morning! ...I purchased my Whirlpool shortly before Xmas 2007 as a replacement for my old machine which had decided to give up on me at the worst possible time of year. Having now had it for almost four months, here is my opinion so far. Decision to buy The reason for going for this model was primarily cost driven. Being close to Christmas I wanted a brand that I had heard of, but at the same time getting away with paying as little as possible. This model was advertised for for just over £200 which seemed quite reasonable for a 1400 spin washer. Another incentive for me was ordering via Sainsburys on-line so at least my Nectar points got a bit of a boost.
