There are so many different cycles that you can always find one not only to suit your washing needs but also your timing too.
My washing always comes out clean, smelling great - which isn't my experience ... ...the brilliant 30 minute wash a lot. I have so much to get through, to be able to do a small load and have it drying is fantastic, rather than every load lasting a long time - especially with school uniforms that get yoghurt and paint down them and need to washed and dried by the next morning!

There are so many different cycles that you can always find one not only to suit your washing needs but also your timing too.
My washing always comes out clean, smelling great - which isn't my experience with previous machines ive had.
I use the brilliant 30 minute wash a lot. I have so much to get through, to be able to do a small load and have it drying is fantastic, rather than every load lasting a long time - especially with school uniforms that get yoghurt and paint down them and need to washed and dried by the next morning!
PRODUCT INFORMATION The machine has 4 indicators on it. One is to show you when the door is open, another to show you tat it needs a service, one to tell you to clean the pump and another to tell you if the water tap is closed. These features are so that you may detect faults at an early stage.
There is a program sequence indicator on the machine so that you can see which part of the cycle it is in.
The other features are a cold wash option, a spin speed reduction option, pause and reset.
It is also a 'green' machine - energy efficiant etc.
PROGRAMS There are 18 programs in total.
COTTON Cotton has 4 separate programs -95 degree with prewash, 95 degree normal, and a 60 degree or 40 degree program. Cotton cycles take between 2.00hrs and 2.20hrs. They can all take up to 5kg load and use a max of 49 litres of water.
SYNTHETICS Synthetics have 4 programs. 60 degree with prewash, or 60 degree normal and a 40 degree or 30 degree normal program Synthetic cycles take between 1.15hrs and 1.30hrs and take a max load of 2.5kg. They use a max of 50 litres of water.
DELICATES Delicate wash cycle is set at 30 degrees and takes a max 1.5kg load. The cycle takes 0.45hrs to complete and uses a max of 50 litres of water.
QUICK WASH The quick wash cycle is set at 30 degrees can take a 3.0kg load and lasts just 0.30hrs! It uses a max of 40 litres of water.
WOOL The wool cycle can run at either 40 degrees or cold (20 degrees) it takes a load of 1kg and lasts 0.45hrs. Wool uses up to 55 litres of water.
HAND WASH The hand wash cycles can run at either 30 or 40 degrees. They take a load of 1kg and last for 0.40hrs using 40 litres of water.
OTHER CYCLES Rinse and spin - for a load of up to 5kg Spin for up to 5kg Gentle spin for up to 1kg Drain (just drains water)
I would recommend this robust easy to use machine to anyone!
Advantages: Queit, very good spin, good wash and overall excellent value! Disadvantages: Can't really find one.
...eventually relented and bought this Whirlpool as a direct replacement, costing £185-00 on offer from Co-op direct. I've immediately taken out the *8* year (yes, eight year) warranty for parts for just £25-00! Okay you still would have to pay for labour, but its pretty impressive to find a budget machine with such good warranty on its parts.
It has done all we've asked of it so far - and is particularly quiet in operation, especially after the Servis ... ...and the clothes certainly do seem to come out much less creased when using a program that triggers this particular aspect of the wash. Dials and controls are all very easy to use, and firm under touch. It doesn't feel at all flimsy, especially when you consider the cost of the machine. Your really do feel its far more expensive than it actually was.
The only downside I can find is that when you use the quick wash, the clothes aren't quite as dry ...

Quick review of Whirlpool AWO/D4505
I really like this washing machine. It is very easy to use, and efficient with the auto half load setting. The handwash settings are really useful, it is very quiet and the spin gets clothes nearly dry.
One annoying thing is that the 40 degree wash setting takes absolutely AGES! It has a quick wash setting at 30 degrees which is only about 30 mins so tend to use that instead. ...

My old washing machine went kaput a couple of weeks ago and I needed to find a reasnoable priced replacement suitble for a fmily of four.
I plumped for this machine necause it was on special offer and could be delivered quickly. I have been very pleased with this machine.
The quick wash takes 30minutes and is very effective, the normal wash cycles are not too long either. The auto half load is a godsend.
The full spin is excvellent adn the clothes ...

The == Whirlpool AWO/D4505 is the best washing machine I have ever bought. I liked it because whilst being fairly cheap and affordable, it offered what a lot of washing machines of that price didn't. (Not to mention the A+ energy rating, which does make yourself feel a bit greener in caring about the environment!)
With a 5kg capacity load, it is ideal for anyone from a single man or woman, up to a medium-sized family. It also has an A rated wash ... ...What's more it is extremely functionable. It has a wide-opening door, which doesn't get in the way when you load it and has 18 wash programmes including Quick Wash and Hand Wash. It also tells you how long until the end of the programme was which is really handy.
I would definately recommend this washing machine to anyone, and have done already to many people, just because of its simplicity and ease of use!
Well worth the money! ...
