Whirlpool want £662 to repair it or provide a new one for £595. We paid that amount for the original one.
After some correspondence with Whirlpool they said they would not offer any recompense for the failure even ... ... So it's off to the supplier with the Sale of Goods Act in hand.
Whirlpool's customer care don't appear to care at all.
