After tasting the actual cat food I decided that it may be wise to taste the biscuits. I was in a bit of a mad mood that day.
I happened to have the meaty biscuits this time, usually I get the fishy ones but they had run out. These biscuits don’t really taste of anything. They are very salty though, I now know why the cat drinks five bowls of water afterwards. Very crunchy too, you have to chew them for quite a long time.
The cats point of view, well, it depends what sort of mood he is in. If he’s in one of those “I’m not eating that rubbish” type of moods with his food I usually mix in a few Whiskas biscuits and that generally sorts it out. He also likes them on their own as well though.
What is really annoying is when you are in a hurry and try and get lots of biscuits out that little whole in the top all at once. It never works and you always end up with biscuits all over the floor. Having a fussy cat he won’t eat them off the floor. Very up-market cat is Murphy, he won’t be having any of that common stuff. This leaves you to hoover them up when you get home and they make lots of noise when they go up the hoover. Even more annoying is when they all go in the bowl of water on the floor next to the food dish. They expand to three times the size and go all soggy, nightmare cleaning that up.
I think that Whiskas biscuits are great for cats for ‘in between meals’!! Murphy the upmarket cat really likes them (when he’s in the right mood). Make sure you keep a bowl of water down for you cat if you are feeding him these because they are very dry. I needed a drink after only eating five, and it wasn’t because of the taste!
I hear that they have just bought out some new biscuits with cheese in them so next week Murphy and I will be trying those!
