The advantages of being a Shaun Hutson fan is that you can go out, pick any book and you are not confused. None of Hutsons books are follow-ons, each book tells another nail-biting, seat edging, cant put the book down read.

White ghost is about Sean Doyle who is a member of the Counter Terrorist Unit based in Northern Ireland. He has had his fair share if intamacy with death and brutality and in this gripping plot while investigating the hijack of an army weapons convoy.

Doyle manages to infiltrate the organisation and soon makes some diturbing discoveries like the body of an IRA informer stuffed with heroin and an IRA safe house full of Chinese Triads.

With a wave of violence breaking out across Britain, Doyle soon realises that the stakes have been raised to an alarming degree. The evidence points out to an unholy war between the two Triad groups and the IRA supporting one of them. Motive ? Only Doyle can find out. He has to stop this before the carnage spirals out of control.

A fast action, heart stopping novel set between London and Belfast, Triad gangs, IRA and the unknown...

Hutson justs gets better and better.

What i enjoy the most about this writer is that he can combine sheer horror and comedy into the same sentance. The imagination of this writer is one that goes way , way deep and further than most of us dare even think of. Shaun Hutson keeps his novels going strong to the very end, all characters who maynot even meet at all in his books all just fit into place at the end and you realise that they was needed.
Another good thing about this author is that you dont need to start at book one and go through the series.

I personally think that most authors when making their aknowledgements are pretty boring, Shaun Hutson is not. He gives me great laughs when reading his, he likes to thank his parents, wife, daughter etc, his fans and then he goes on to saying thanks to his drum sets, his local supermarket, his bank etc. The aknowledgements alone are well worth a read.
