White Knight have produced simple, yet reliable tumble dryers for many years.
White Knight are owned by a company called Croslee plc, Croslee also own Royal Cozyfires.
Overall Appearence ================ The look of the dryer is basic, but stylish the door has a nice curved handle and the control panel is well set out and easy to understand.
Looking at the front of the dryer from left to right you have Timer dial ranging from 0 to 120 minutes (who ever dries a load for that long is a lunatic in my opinion) further along you have a guide of drying times the cottons times are estimated on a load spun at 1000rpm and the synthetics times are estimated on a load spun at 800rpm
Although I got a 3kg load spun at 1200 dry in 40 minutes, the dryer reccomends around 80-90 minutes to dry a 3kg cottons load to fully dry, so these times are not very accurate however spin performance varies from brand to brand.
The 3kg load size is great for smaller families or couples, with not much washing. and although this machine does not have reverse tumble clothes etc come out crease free.
The fluff filter is just inside the base of the door frame area, this can be a little fiddly to get out but the filter is easy to clean, and should be done after every load.
Performance =========== This dryer has astounded me at how well it performs for such a little machine.
I even managed to dry a thinner single sleeping bag in it in just under 60 minutes, that amazed me, for the average load of clothes spun at 1200rpm it will take around 40 minutes to dry to iron dry and around 50/60 mins to dry to storage dry, I prefer to dry to iron dry otherwise things are too crispy.
Overall a good buy, at around £99 good for someone who is on a budget and needs a dryer for basic needs
If you think ive missed anything just leave a comment and I will try to improve!
