White Lightning Cider

Advantages: Extremely cheap and strong
Disadvantages: Bad taste

...for this particular purchase. White Lightning cider was pretty much the only contender. At £3.99 for a huge 3 LITRE plastic bottle of the stuff from Tesco it seemed amazing value. I bought three bottles because it was so damn cheap, and the alcohol content was high - 7.5%. Perfect for the use intended... On the night, I drank very little. My cousin and a female friend got really stuck in to the White Lightning however. After approximately 5 pints ...
...after effects of his drinking White Lightning in excess were a strong hangover the next morning (which if I remember correctly stopped him from going to college) and a burning/acheing sensation in his stomach. On the night I only had about half a pint myself. I had trouble drinking it due to the taste, which I find hard to describe.
