Heaven in a bottle!! Ogio Pinot Grigio
Advantages: great taste, light, refreshing and fruity Disadvantages: bit pricey so hunt for offers!!
Another great find at my local Tesco store. Again I brought my first bottle when it was on offer and had to dash back the next morning to stock up!!! At about £8 per bottle its usually out of my price range so half price made it seem appealing. It's a light fruity easy drink, great for the summer months when bottle is chilled!! I found the only downside (apart from a hangover the next day!) it that it is too drinkable. Its not got a strong taste ...

Advantages: light, refreshing, fruity little number Disadvantages: pricey but worth it
I decided to purchase this wine only due to the fact it was half price in Tesco the other week. What a find...i'm in love with a bottle of wine!!!! It was so nice I had to go back the following day to stock up on it..and needless to say it didn't last long!! It's so light and fresh without being too sweet or harsh. It has a fruity taste and very drinkable. I won't baffle anyone with techno wine talk as I dont know any all I can say is it is definately ...

Something sweet for the light drinker
Advantages: Sweet taste Disadvantages: Expensive
...in terms of flavor. In Brown Brother's Moscato, I finally found my weakness. At last! A refreshing wine that's versatile enough to go with any meal. The Gist of Things At £34.14 a pop, you've got to really want this Moscato in order to try it. My advice? Buy in bulk. After taking one sip, there's no turning back. Go to Costco with a thirsty friend and see what happens. I guarantee this is worth the extra money. ...

I'll raise a glass to it!!
Advantages: A goodpriced easily ( too easily) drinkable wine Disadvantages: IT'S ALL GONE!!
...that is just what this Stowells of Chelsea Chardonnay Colombard is.
Frederick Stanley Stowells opened his first wine store in Ealing, London in 187, so I expect that it is no surprise that this wine is good.
The bottle I have was from Morrisons and cost me £3.79 but was on half price - so a very good price for a rather good little wine.
The wine is from South East Australia and made with a mixture chardonnay and colombard grapes, and comes in ... ...nowadys dio have a screw top - I for one have no objection to them either.
According to the label on the reverse of the bottle the strength code is 2 - and as the wines are graded from 1 ( very dry) to 9 (very sweet) this sounds as if it will be perfect for my palate.
The wine is 12.5% vol. and a description tells me that I am going to enjoy "Delicious full white wine with tropical fruit aromas and honeyed oaky flavours.", it is a clear white chardonnay ...

...the world. The Montana Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc comes highly recommended and has been made since 1979 and retails at between £7.50 - £8.00 from most major supermarkets. It is a fresh and fruity wine that has gooseberry and tropical fruit overtones and not too dry. It is a very drinkable wine perfect with chicken or fish as well as drinking on its own. Other comparable makes include Cloudy Bay and Nobilo. ...
