The alcohol content is stated as 10% which these days is not strong with full bodied ball busters coming out at 14-15% which means you can drink this wine, well maybe a bottle easily, without falling over too many times. Disadvantages: Not enough in a bottle

Buy Las Mulas instead

Advantages: Cheap
Disadvantages: Spend a little more for better stuff

Las Falleras is cheap table wine of the type that's given Spanish plonk a bad name. But M&S also sell a Rueda Verdejo under the name Las Mulas at £4.99 (though often on offer at £1 less) which is wonderful. The excellence of Rueda whites is not much known in Britain, and some of those on sale here are not of the highest quality (and are usually Sauvignon Blanc, or a SB/Verdejo mix), but Las Mulas is smooth, deep, and too yummy for words. Takes away the 40th birthday blues
