WHITEBOX are an absolute disgrace: I ordered a Hotpoint item (oven) and cancelled the same day. Confirmed this on the phone to them and they said everthing would be fine and refund processed immediately. That was the only and last time a spoke to a human. Despite riging innumerable time - always to voicemail and sending dozens of e-mails I was unable to secure a refund. Had to resort to credit card to secure my money (£718) and this was 3 months later. KEEP WELL AWAY FROM THIS SHOWER is my advice ...

Went onto this site by mistake. A colleague in work mentioned what a good deal she had picked up from White Box Deals and when I got home I clicked on this site in error. Never mind, I thought. The site certainly looked impressive with links to varying types of electrical appliances with a decent search facility. Ordered a Hoover Washer-Dryer on a Monday, received an email from Whitebox confirming delivery on Thursday. Thursday, no delivery. Took me over 24 hours to reach Whitebox -- phone almost always goes to voice mail and then later was stating their phone system was having 'difficulties'. I finally got an email saying it was the manufacturer's fault and they could re-deliver on the next Tuesday or I could cancel my order. Tuesday came, the item was delivered. ...

Ordering the product was easy, securing delivery was a nightmare to the point that I cancelled the order, sent numerous e-mails requesting a refund that went unanswered and eventually had to request that my credit card company recover the money owed to me.
