    Advantages Advantages Interesting but not really my sort of book

I had not previously read it so I decided to keep one copy after I had given the other nineteen away and take this lone copy with me on holiday and I would then give it to someone on my travels.     Advantages Advantages Some interesting sections

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Difficult to read in places, too much introspection

    January's choice I have recently joined a Book Club, and this was the choice for January 2013. It is a (sort of) memoir by the author Jeanette Winterson, who is a novelist and wrote Oranges Are Not The Only Fruit, which was published back in 1985 and is remembered as much for the TV programme of the same name as the book itself. The book Oranges was said to be semi-autobiographical (in fact the main character in that book is called Jeanette), but this book is said to be "that story's silent twin".
