Keeping fit

Advantages: something different, fun for all
Disadvantages: doesn't exactly count as a weight-loss program

that a game like this came out. If we can?t get our children off the video games then why not change game play altogether? The Wii and Wii fit both help increase the amount of activity in a child?s day while giving them the challenge of a video game that they love. One aspect that I want to talk about is the graphics. Sure the Wii is not a Hi Definition console but the graphics seemed pretty neat. The avatars in the game can be visually customized to your liking. But these avatars are a bit dull compared to those found in Wii Sports. The graphics also contain charts giving info about your body like your Body Mass Index (BMI) etc. These are available in neat and informative charts and the period of time can also be changed to your liking. The graphics during training are also pretty decent and illustrate a blank person showing you the moves ...

Wii Fit, Keeping You Fit

Advantages: Keeps you active, allows all members of the family to play together, fun!
Disadvantages: Nothing!

Wii Fit. Bought for £69.99 from Game (on the highstreet) in September 2008. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I must first congratulate Nintendo for the development and production of the Wii Fit; it is the first of a kind in that it attempts to get even the most idle of gamers to start exercising, if only by small amounts each day. The very nature of Wii Fit means that any time spent playing it, is also exercise time. I must also state that this is not to be a substitute for regular exercise. You should see this as an additional way to keep fit, toned and healthy, as there are limits to what the Wii Fit can do, and it certainly cannot sustain an atheltic lifestyle by itself. The Wii Fit or Wii Balance Board is a unique creation by Nintendo. It is a flat board roughly 50cmx30cmx7cm, upon which you stand to ...

The Unique Way To Keep Fit!

Advantages: Great fun, whole family can get involved, helps to keep you fit
Disadvantages: It is quite expensive

balance between your legs but in this test you just need to balance a specific amount of weight i.e. 30% on your right leg and 70% on your left leg. You are given various weights to follow and the idea is to hit the targets you are given as quickly as you can. Once you have taken part in two of the above tests, you are then presented with a Wii Fit Age based on how well you did in the tests. When I first started using the Wii, my age was round the 45 mark which was rather embarrassing as I am actually 24. Now when I use the Wii, I can regularly get my age down to 21 which is much more satisfying. My partner is 34 and has managed to get his age down to 29 (which had him smiling for days!) Nearly every time you use the Wii, you are informed that you should do a body test every day even if you don't have time to do any of the other games ...
