Wicked Whispers - Jessica Callan

Feeling under the weather, I found myself in bed, off work and feeling sorry for myself. I went into my housemate's room in the hope to find something to cheer me up and I did... in the shape of Wicked Whispers by Jessica Callan.
I didn't know too much about the 3am girls and I hadn't heard of the author before but I thought i would be worth a try. This book is like sitting next to your mate and having a good old gossip. It's light-hearted and goes through the many nights Jessica spent at celebrity parties trying to get the latest gossip.
You will be amazed when you find out which celebrity footballer asked her for a threesome, astonished when you find out which celebrity she took home but unfortunately made a run for freedom when he found out she was a journalist and astounded at the celebrity that took a pee in front of her and asked for help with her cat suit. You will find out who are the down to earth celebrities and who need to brought back down to earth.
This book should not be taken too seriously and to enjoy it you need to cast aside your views of gossip columnists, at times I had to wonder whether it was fair to get drunk and vulnerable celebs to open up their hearts and then plaster their revalations in the next day's newspaper. But, Jessica does not hold anything back - she is honest and open about everything - even the fact that Piers Morgan gets a touch slimy after a few drinks. No surprise there!
