Advantages competetive prices, good returns policy, great variety, everything you need under one site
Disadvantages not always the cheapest for everything, relying on the post

Wiggle.co.uk is a great resource for any cyclist, whether you are the down and dirty offroad type, a road racer, or a commuter. This online shop carries everything from cycle components and frames (though not complete bikes) to clothing, shoes, hydration systems, protective gear, panniers, lighting systems, odometers, tools, workstands .. well, you name it, and if it's bike related they will sell it to you securely through their SSL encrypted server. Advantages Huge range and stock, generally good prices, 'one-stop shop' for bike gear
Disadvantages Post-sales customer service, not supporting local bike ship

First of all, I'd better 'come clean' and say that my motivation to register on this site and write this review is the appalling after-sales customer service I've received from wiggle. However, I have placed many orders totalling hundreds of pounds (bike gear for myself and other people), so I will address the advantages to wiggle first. Advantages Got what I wanted in what I'd consider record time.
Disadvantages Really, none that I can think of.

OK, I can't comment on everyone's opinion of Wiggle, but here's mine: We have 9 month old twins. I wanted two backpack-like child carriers to hike in - one for me and one for my wife. They didn't need to be the same product for each of us, but they needed to be comfortable enough for both children and adult alike. Reading on the internet, I found that pretty much everyone loved their Deuter Kid Comfort III. So, I looked around for prices. Hands down, Wiggle had the lowest price I could find. This is what internet shopping is all about: speed of service, accuracy of information, detailed product listings, lots of choice, well known brands, convenient and a simple to use website. Wiggle has excels in each of these areas and then some. Advantages Price, customer service
Disadvantages Narrow range of colour

I live in New Zealand and for some reason I was sent two identical pairs of Asics running shoes. However their customer service and general processed were very good - so much so that wiggle.co.uk has become the first place I look when buying. When the shoes were delivered, I emailed their English offices to explain the problem. They emailed back overnight (my time) and throughout our correspondence always emailed back within 24 hours. In the end I just posted the spare pair of shoes back, and they refunded the money including postage. I received the shoes quickly and they were couriered to my ... more
