The wii fit has been keeping me happy for quite a while now, but eventually when you have played and tried all the games within it eventually it gets left in a box behind the sofa, for 72 days according to my wii fit. So when i saw the Wii Fit plus was for sale I pre ordered it straight away, it gives a much needed new enjoyable boost into the what was already great wii fit.

There are many extra fun things to do whilst getting fit with the Wii Fit Plus in my opinion. One of the great things is that it transfers all of your data from the wii fit easily and quickly in one click. You can now weigh your babies and pets on this. There are three new yoga moves - Spine extension, gate and grounded V. Three new Muscle workouts - Balance bridge, Side lunge and Single leg reach.

However there are two new sections which I find great these are the Training plus and My Wii Fit Plus. Firstly the Training plus section this has 15 new games that work on your body and your mind.

Perfect 10 - where you have to use your hips to bump the numbers around you to add to 10, sounds easier then it is trust me, great fun with mind and body.

Cycling- You use the balance board to step on and move forward, and the Wii remote for the staring, once you have tried this a few times you can cycle round the island collecting the the 13 flags on your way before making it back to the start line.

Rhythm Kung Fu - This is great fun using the balance board, remote and numchuck to copy what the other people are doing behind you, whilst keeping in time to the music.

Driving Range- In all honesty i found this my most difficult but then I am no good at golf in reality either, you use the remote as a club and have to swing just so to get the ball in. One I feel I will need to work a lot harder on :).

Sergway Circuit - yes you are on a segway and like the cycling you use the board and remote, whilst leaning backwards and forwards. You have to pop the big balloons as quickly as possible before they change to a mole like thing that makes you loose points. The last balloon is attached to one of these moles that runs round and turns when you least expect it, so is much trickier to catch in the time given.

Bird's Eye - Bulls Eye - You are a big bird/chicken and you only use the board flapping your arms up and down to hover over large targets which you must land on to gain points. Some are harder then others with different pint levels on each target, once you have done them you must get safely to the ship before your time run s out. This is loads of fun and even better to watch someone else!

Snowball fight - A winner with my son this game you are behind a shield with 3 lives you must quickly throw the snowballs at others without being hit yourself. This works on timing and agility. This is good fun but I found it a little easy, however once you have mastered this and others you unlock harder levels which adults will find more challenging.

Obstacle course - A new family favourite this has a mix of lots of different moves, you have to work your way through the obstacle course without falling, getting hit or squished, had my youngest in stitches, good fun.

Tilt city - This one needs good co-ordination and a good sense of timing. you use the remote as your main tilter, then each side of the board as the lower two. The idea of the game is to get the correct coloured balls into the right coloured pot at the end, there are bigger balls with miis on and if you get them the face lights up like fireworks. This is quite a tricky one but good fun once you get the hang of it.

Rhythm Parade - Like it sounds you lead a parade and march in time with the music, whilst using both remotes as shakers to hit at the right time also.

Big top juggling - You balance on a big ball (which is hard enough in itself) then other miis throw balls at you, that you need to catch and throw to juggle with. Still haven't quite got this one right yet, will keep trying.

Skateboard Arena - Great fun this skateboard challenge needs you to do lots of different stunts and jumps you have to gain points to clear each section whilst you learn the next, till at the end you have a big challenge with all of the things you have learnt in one, haven't mastered this one yet either but am determined to do so.

Table tilt plus - This is a more improved version of the original table tilt with new gold sections that ping and throw the balls around, making it much more challenging then ever before and slightly addictive for me.

Balance bubble plus - This is an upgraded version of the balance bubble with more spins twists turns and added features making it harder.

Jogging plus - This is just like the normal jogging on the wii fit, the only difference I can see is that at the end it asks you questions about things you should have seen and noticed along the way so be vigilant.

The other new section is My Wii fit plus, once you have transferred all the information there is a little gold door leading to this area as well as on the main screen. There is a lot to do within this new and exciting section, there is the Wii Fit plus routines which consist of four subsections :-

Lifestyle - with shoulders and back, relax and warm up sections, each of these have three lots of workouts from various games and challenges that work on these particular areas mentioned.

Health - with Tummy, overindulged and learner Mii, all giving three more workouts on each that target these problem areas.

Youth - with Posture, Mind & Body and Legs & Hips. Again having three workout/challenged within each section varying it up a bit.

Form - with Hips & behind, Arms and Figure, all of these subsections have three workout/challenges or mind and body games including the old wii fit plus things like yoga and muscle workouts.

You can of course combine any of these for more fun.

There is a my routine section where you can personalise your workouts by choosing out of the yoga and muscle workout sections. This enables you to personalise your training programme, and if you want to do them often you can make regular customised workouts too.

There is a favourites section where you can see both the new and old wii fit sections showing how frequently you use each one, which ones you have used recently and the things you do rarely or even not at all. this section is good for challenging other members of your friends and family to try the things they have not before, and to see which ones they have enjoyed the most.

There is also a calorie check, which will allow you to see the total of calories you have burnt that day, the fit cash section where you can see how long you have been working out for, and compare it to other times. You can change your trainer from male to female here or vice versa. There is also a met section explaining probably more clearly then I can.

Mets x your weight x time (hours) x 0.48 = Cal

e,g 4 mets x 9st6lbs x 0.5hrs x 0.48 = 126cals

The wii fit plus piggy is very cute and will keep you updated on the time spent on each exercise and your cals once you complete each task.

The other brilliant thing that Wii Fit plus offers is the multiplayer where you can play with and against other friends and family.

All in all I love this game and it is a big hit within my family, I have had to let my family have limited amounts of time on each to stop arguments, this in my opinion is well worth the money and a little addictive, which is great as we as a family can get fitter and have fun too! :)
