...a lot for Yamaha and the quality of their instruments. The guitar tech who I used to set it up for me said that he was unfamiliar with this guitar but it was a pleasure to work on, and wanted to know if I'd sell it to him. If you want a good, humbucker rock/blues sound but want a friendly, maple neck, this guitar must be tried. ...The fab-tone is certainly a great distortian pedal- although i have only ever used it at home through a small amp i have been informed it is also good for higher impact use. I bought it on the recomendation of the guitar tech guy in my local music store about a year ago and now use it all the time. It looks cool and sounds even better. There are 4 knobs, controlling the pre-amp volume, treble, bass and distortion level. This gives the user a good degree of control over the sound that us produced from peachy fuzz to indistinguishable noise. It has so far been rocust enough to stand up to my jumping on it in order to activate it - great fun, although the 'distortion turning on' switch is smaller than most. The only qualm i have with it is that if you leave it plugged into yor guitar (as lazy people like me do) the battery is drained... Read review
