Advantages: great value for money Disadvantages: none
...a lot for Yamaha and the quality of their instruments. The guitar tech who I used to set it up for me said that he was unfamiliar with this guitar but it was a pleasure to work on, and wanted to know if I'd sell it to him.
If you want a good, humbucker rock/blues sound but want a friendly, maple neck, this guitar must be tried. Forgive the phase control silliness and you will be amazed at the guitar for the incredible price. Nice one Yamaha....

Advantages: looks good, nive colour, 4 easy to use controls Disadvantages: battery runs out quick - needs AC adaptor the isnt included
...The fab-tone is certainly a great distortian pedal- although i have only ever used it at home through a small amp i have been informed it is also good for higher impact use. I bought it on the recomendation of the guitar tech guy in my local music store about a year ago and now use it all the time.

It has so far been rocust enough to stand up to my jumping on it in order to activate it - great fun, although the 'distortion turning on' switch is smaller than most. The only qualm i have with it is that if you leave it plugged into yor guitar (as lazy people like me do) the battery is drained...

Advantages: well built, excellent sustain, Disadvantages: distortion can be a bit too much
...I bought this pedal with an aim to reproduce the sounds of such bands as Metallica as well as certain heavier groups. It only just succeeds at producing a copy of Metallica's sound. The distortion on this, when pushed to the max, is to wild for many styles of music.
The sustain that this pedal can give you when it is set up right is amazing. However this can lead to a lot of feedback problems and needs careful adjustment to sort this out.
This pedal, as with many other Boss pedals, is very sturdily built. I have had it for quite a while and never had any problems with it at all....
