Wilkinson Sword (Fiskars) Lifetime Servo Single Hand Grass Shear

I have some lovely Wilkinson Sword (Fiskars) Lifetime Servo Single Hand Grass Shears which I have had for many years now. These came with a lifetime guarantee and I bought mine over ten years ago now and the design has obviously changed in that time. I have a lot of garden tools from Wilkinson Sword and they are a brand I trust because they have been around a long time and I know they make quality products.

I pad about £12 for these but they are more expensive now I like to use these for trimming the edge of the grass in my back garden and even if the grass is wet they won’t stick on it. I have small hands and I find them lightweight and very easy to use.

I also like that they are very safe and when I put them away at night after I have finished using them, I know they won’t spring open on me because the blades lock. They have a thumb operated locking catch and they rotate 360 degrees. I have an apple tree in my back garden and I find them really handy for cutting the grass around the bottom of the tree. They have a very good cutting action I find and they have been very reliable. They are better than shears are for getting into awkward places in my garden, such as around and under my bushes and shrubs.

I also use these when I go to my allotment because I find them very good indeed for harvesting my come again salad products, such as my spring onions and my lettuce. If I cut them with my fiskars rather than pulling them, then these will grown back lovely again for me for the next harvest. I have let my neighbour borrow them from time to time and he says they are very handy too.

I am very pleased indeed with them and they are rust resistant though there are some signs of this on mine. They look a little bit battered now but they are still working just as well as the day I bought them and I am very pleased with them.
