After having a short dalliance with waxing, and then spending my nights trying to release in growing hairs, I decided to return to shaving. Then by chance I completed a survey for the Quattro for Women Bikini, and immediately thought to myself 'I've got to get me one of those'. Then I saw them in Tesco on a promotional introductory offer at half price (the full price being £8.99), so I snapped one up immediately. And after giving it a thorough testing, these are my thoughts.
The razor itself is pretty much a standard razor these days, with four blades and a lubricating strip which has an Aloe and Duo-Vitamine complex, which helps to keep your skin soft and silky, despite having four blades dragged across it. It takes Quattro refill blades, which are a little expensive at close to £5 for 3, but this is pretty much standard for blades now.
What makes this razor different is the battery powered trimmer integrated into the base. Surprisingly the battery is included in the pack when you buy it. The trimmer is for the bikini area, you can adjust the trimmer comb depending on the hair length you require, or you can remove the comb completely for total hair removal.
Also included in the pack is a shower holder, which is a holder for your razor that has two suction pads on the back to attach to your tiles.
To the actual usage. Well the razor is a razor, there's not much you can say about them really, it trims the hairs as well as any other, and it glides nicely over the skin. Because of the trimmer, it is slightly bottom heavy, so it takes a little getting used to after using lightweight razors for such a long time.
The trimmer is great, it's also waterproof, so there's no worry about using it in the shower, either as a razor or using the trimmer. Being able to adjust the comb length is a great idea, because obviously everyone is different, some women don't like any hair at all, whereas others will only use the complete hair removal for the bikini line itself and adjust the comb for the rest of the bikini area.
It's not the quietest of items, so there's no point trying to do your bikini line in secret, anyone passing by the bathroom will know what you're doing!
Cleaning is easy, you just remove the comb and rinse it under the tap, then put it back in the shower hanger to dry.
So far the suction pads on the shower hanger have stayed put, normally I find myself woken in the night by these types of things dropping off the wall (why they always wait until night time to drop off, I'll never know), but these seem to be stuck solid.
Overall I'd definitely recommend this razor, it means I can ditch my individual razors and electric lady shave, which will be especially handy when going on holiday, because it means one less item to pack.

Advantages: Very effective bikini line trimmer, and close shaving performance Disadvantages: Expensive, and less than effective shower hanger. Stupid operating instructions
