Until recently, I have been a razor agnostic. I was a semi-occasional leg shaver (in the winter at least) and only dealt with the bikini line when I knew I?d be wearing a bathing suit (but NOT a bikini). I never saw the point of ?ladies? razors,? thinking they were simply a marketing ploy to convince women to pay more for a pink razor. I have recently reformed, however. Bikini Razor - You'll never need another

Advantages: All in one solution to hair removal
Disadvantages: A little bottom heavy

After having a short dalliance with waxing, and then spending my nights trying to release in growing hairs, I decided to return to shaving. Then by chance I completed a survey for the Quattro for Women Bikini, and immediately thought to myself 'I've got to get me one of those'. Then I saw them in Tesco on a promotional introductory offer at half price (the full price being £8.99), so I snapped one up immediately. And after giving it a thorough testing, these are my thoughts. The razor itself is pretty much a standard razor these days, with four blades and a lubricating strip which has an Aloe and Duo-Vitamine complex, which helps to keep your skin soft and silky, despite having four blades dragged across it. It takes Quattro refill blades, which are a little expensive at close to £5 for 3, but this is pretty much standard for blades now ...

Wilkinson Sword Intuition Razor for Women

Advantages: Leaves skin really smooth, saves time
Disadvantages: Very expensive!

When I first saw this advertised (probably about 2 years ago now) I was immediately attracted to it because of the conditioning block, it sounded as if it would make shaving a lot easier and a lot quicker. I was also drawn in by the fact that they claimed that there was aloe vera in the block (What is it about aloe vera? - it doesnt matter what they put it in, if its got it I want it!) I had to wait about a year before I could reasonably afford to buy it and keep replacing the heads as I was not working at the time but it was definetely worth it! The razor itself has three blades with a white conditioning block surrounding it. The Razor and the block are one thing, so when you change the blade you change the blade. The handle is white with a blue rubber grip, it also has a small hole in the top to enable you to hang your razor ...
