… It works fantastically on women's legs too!!
Maybe I should explain why I have a man's razor! Okay so I'm a poor student, and I use the Internet a lot. The two often come together in the form of ordering endless free samples. And this time it just so happened to be for the Wilkinson Sword Quattro Titanium razor.
As my sample came in the post, the razor came in a cardboard box with Quattro Titanium written all over it (and an address label to ... ...clear hard plastic packaging, still with Quattro Titanium written all over it!
My first reaction after taking it out of the box was about the weight of this razor. Usually I use though cheap, disposable, plastic (female!) razors that are hollow and barely weigh a thing. This is made of metal and as such is a lot heavier. I can't really see any advantage of it being made of metal except for looking nicer. There are also a number of plastic grips ...

Advantages: No cuts, no irritation, long lasting blades and no pulsating Disadvantages: Why did they not make these sooner?
I bet by the title you thought that this was a review on the Gillette series right? Well no - I have discovered the BEST razor ever. The Wilkinson Sword Quattro titanium and it now comes with the vibrating unit for a closer (supposedly) shave.
I used to be a Gillette mach 3 man. The three blades were brilliant. You take one swipe and it takes 3. I also found that if you are heavy handed (and admit it people we all get it sometimes - the morning ... ...as I always found, when the last thing I needed was blood spots all over my face!) the razor would cut 3 times and usually along the whole length of the blade. Dried up blood (after 3 hours to actually scab up) is not a pretty look.
It was then I found the Wilkinson Sword Quattro. I admit it - I was sceptical since I was bad enough with 3 blades - whatever would 4 do to me? The beauty of the quattro titanium is that it has little divider bars perpendicular ...

Advantages: Smooth as a sleek lamborghini Disadvantages: Cost of the blades
How the hell do you do a razor review? As my half assed stubble shows, I don't use the most reliable of razors most of the time, think the last time I did get around to what I view as a chore I managed to do the thing with a cheap ASDA home brand one (some how managing not cut my silky skin, beneath the forest of hair above). Whats more suprising really is I've finally found my good old Quattro, which had gone MIA after fighting through the forests ... ...back.
I, like many it seems, got this razor for free, sadly the same can't be said about the blades, which seem to be around £1 each (admittedly it's 4 blades in each "blade"). Which could explain why it went MIA, as I can't afford to blow this sort of moolah after clearing up every battlezone. This might seem like a stupid idea, actually voluntarily using the cheap crappy knock off's of cheap crap, instead of spending a few bob on a top class blade, ...

Advantages: Very fast , steel wires prevent you from cutting yourself Disadvantages: Mediocre design
I had my first experience with the Wilkinson Quattro after receiving a free sample with a magazine and then decided to use it until I went on to get the Gillette Fusion razor. The Fusion is quite a good product, but when it comes to price, at 2 pound per blade, it's a rip off, since the Quattro Titanium blades not only work on the new Quattro Titanium handle, but also work on the old one as well. The four protective steel wires protect you from cutting ... ...packaging it seems like that the material is proper Made in Solingen Steel, which is quite unusual in a world where everything seems to be made in China. The design of the handle is almost the same as the previous one, although the steel on the blade is now Titanium coated for more durability. Come to think of it, the Fusion blades seem to only last a few times at most before they lose their smoothness, compared to the Titanium ones which can last ...

Advantages: Price, close shave, titanium coated, no battery, ease of use, extra blade, cheaper blades Disadvantages: May not look as good as Gillete, can scratch skin if not used properly
I had been choosing what razor to buy after using electric shavers and I saw the Wilkinson Sword Quattro Titanium. I had been deciding between Wilkinson and Gillette. The first thing that I saw on the Wilkinson was the four-titanium coated blades which looked like they offered a very smooth and close shave. The Gillette (mach 3) on the other hand did not have titanium coated blades and was more expensive and so were the blades. So I bought the Wilkinson ... ...Both came with one extra set of blades and after using our razors for a while I had let my brother try my Wilkinson razor and he much prefered it to the Gillette and he had bought the Gillette with the battery power which was more expensive.
The Wilkinson has a vitamin E and aloe strip on the razor head which left my skin feeling smooth aswell as the very close-'smooth as a baby's butt'-shave. (This is the Wilkinson razor without battery).
The ...

Advantages: Quick, easy, decent shave Disadvantages: Expensive for a disposable
...TITANIUM DISPOSABLE
This is a disposable version of the Quattro Series, and boy are there a lot of non disposable ones; Quattro, QuattroTitanium, QuattroTitanium Energy and QuattroTitanium Precision (which appears to be more of a trimmer and edger) I had some fun navigating the website in my investigations. No wonder metrosexual man is so confused these days; when I started shaving in the mid 80s it was a choice between 1 disposable single blade cheese grater and another. Aloe Vera hadn't even been invented, never mind on the razor to condition your face. WilkinsonSword claims that this is the first 4 blade disposable razor. The blades are coated with titanium for extra strength, hence the name.
I bought 4 blades, and they come in a blue box with a transparent plastic front. You can get the razors at the back through the cardboard...
