Great value face wipes

Advantages Get rid of make-up, leave skin refreshed, very cheap
Disadvantages Don't get rid of mascara, don't moisturise as claimed
I like to keep a pack of face wipes in the house - usually for when I just can't be bothered to remove my make-up before bed - either that, or for if I manage to make some sort of huge make-up mistake! I purchased these Wilkinson's Skin Therapy 3-in-1 fragranced wipes while they were on special offer. I would normally have chosen the fragrance free version, however they had all sold out, so I decided to try these.
~About the product~Skin Therapy is a Wilkinson's own brand of skincare. These particular wipes are PH balanced and hypo allergenic. They are alcohol and soap free. It states that the 3-in-1 action refers to cleansing, toning and moisturising the skin. Impressive stuff for a wipe.
~Packaging~These come in a quite plain white pack with silver and green writing/designs. Unfortunately the resealable tab on the pack isn't all that great, and I found that it began to lose its stickiness when I was only halfway through the pack.
~Using them~The wipes themselves are fairly thick and a good size. The fragrance is quite gentle, I'm not sure what it is, but it's pretty neutral and inoffensive.
I found the wipes to feel very soft against the skin, something I was glad about, as I have used other wipes in the past that have felt scratchy, and feel like they are removing your skin as well as your make-up!These wipes not only feel gentle on the skin, but also quite soothing.
~Results~I find the wipes get rid of most make-up, such as foundation, eyeliner and lipstick, however they do not remove mascara very well, so I would recommend using a separate eye make-up remover for that.
As for the cleanse, tone, moisturise claims. Cleansing, yes, they definitely do that, with the exception of eye make-up. Toning? Well, perhaps. They do leave my skin feeling quite refreshed which is something I would expect of a toner, but other than that I haven't noticed any other differences that could lead me to the conclusion they are toning my skin. Moisturising? Erm....I wouldn't say that. I have quite dry skin, and I definitely don't find that they leave it any drier, so plus point there, but I don't feel that they actually add any moisture or leave my skin feeling particularly moisturised after use either.~Price~
A pack of 25 wipes will cost you just 99p and are only available from Wilkinsons. I think that is pretty good value, considering a pack of 25 Nivea wipes from the same store will cost you £2.59.~Conclusion~
For the price, I have been very impressed with these wipes, and I would certainly be prepared to buy them again. They are very good value for money, they leave my skin nice and soft, and the only negative I can think to say about them, is that they don't remove eye make-up. Other than that, I highly recommend giving these a try!*also posted on Dooyoo
