Just 2 minutes walk from where I live is a brilliant shop which sells all sorts of things and at a price which I do not mind paying. I go there very frequently. I love it. The prices they charge are good and the quality of their own products never fails me.

Household wares mops, bins, laundry baskets, brushes, sponges, the list goes on and on. Books for children and adults story books and non-fiction books, books for education and books for recreation.
Sweets my daughters favourite part. Pick-and-Mix, chews, chocolates but just a limited variety.
Clothes, Decorating products, Car and bicycle things. I am sure I have missed out some of the things they sell it is a wonderland to visit. The largest one I have visited is in the Broadmarsh Centre in Nottingham. What they sell is incredible. You can almost get lost in this shop.
So why do I like this shop so much. It is not the lay out as that can sometimes be confusing when you do not know the shop. It is partly the fact that it is one of the cheapest shops around and it is partly because I can get a very wide range of products just around the corner from my home.
Advantages: Some good bargins Disadvantages: lots of tat
Wilkinsons are a mixed blessing, in short. They are a high street shop, selling all kinds of everything, some of it good, some of it rubbish. Their stock is somewhat unpredictable, so while they will appeal to the hardened bargin hunter, anyone who needs something specific, fast, may not do so well.
A brief overview of things I've seen them stock: babycare products, toiletries, kitchenware, sweets, clothes, bed linnen, stationary, garden furniture, ... ...be fair to say that Wilkinsons are cheap. They do sell known brands, so you can pick up a real bargin, for example their Johnsons baby wipes are significantly cheaper than anyone elses, as are their folders and pads of writing paper. If you have a bit of time to hunt through for brands you know and love, you can come away with a few bargins. Now, their own brand material is even cheaper, which may persuade you to sample it. I'll confess, I did. I ...

...and a few, such as Wilkinsons that I don't mind going in now and again.
I've only ever used one Wilkinsons store in my life, so I'm afraid that I'll only be able to tell you with my experiences in that particular one, which is situated in Basildon Town centre. The store, itself, is large, spacious and reasonably well laid out. The majority of the aisles are large enough so that manoeuvring a buggy or wheelchair is a breeze. The only exception is ... ...two flavours, big-brand names and Wilkinsons own brand name (Wilko's). Perhaps you'd like a little more detail about what they sell, well I'll try but won't go into too much detail as they literally sell thousands of different goods.
The main section I buy from sells household goods, you know the kind of thing, black bags, oven cleaners, polish etc. I find the prices are significantly lower than the major supermarkets, and their own versions of ...

Advantages: Everything under one roof - and so much cheaper Disadvantages: I'll get back to you on that one
The Wilkinson’s store in Ipswich has probably been open just over two years now, and every Ipswichian in the town either knows of it or shops there.
When it was first announced that this discount shop was going to open you could hear a loud groan…yet ANOTHER cheap shop that sells a whole load of tat. Ipswich is a fairly big town and suddenly it seems that every other shop you walk past is a discount store of one sort or another, but ... ...this one was different, and although it can’t really be called classy, it is certainly done in good taste.
It is rare to go in and not find what you require, and it is rarer still to find something that is not hugely cheaper than other supermarkets and shops. It has a huge range of everyday household objects like cleaning products and personal grooming stuff as well as seasonal items added throughout the year, all at cracking prices. It’s ...

...keep the customer happy at Wilkinsons stores. This, however, is through no fault of the customer. Wilkinsons is a very disorganised store, it seems that it is not only the customers who cannot find products they have come into buy but as an employee i find it difficlt to find certain "smaller" products for them. Products are constantly moved around by staff and customers alike and promotions are constantly shifted for a "lager sale". It seems however ... ...thus creating money loss for Wilkinsons and an Angry Customer. I would like now to focus on the Till's. These are where I am primarily located whist at work. On a busy saturday i serve around 1000 customers in a five hour shift. This load is huge as you can imagine and what goes with that is cash. Obviously i take alot, and for safety and security reasons i cannot state how much. However, on a saturday it has been noted that Wilkinsons can take up ...

Advantages: Saves me spending money on things I dont really need Disadvantages: Make sure your order everything you need.
I love to go shopping in Wilkinson's, however it does cause me a few problems. I go in for one item and come out with three carrier bags full of goodies. Two bags hanging from the pushchair handles and one bag placed in the pushchair, telling my daughter that its good for her to walk! Nasty Mother. Anything on offer and I'll buy it, this most of the time tends to be a waste of money as these things sit in my cupboards gathering dust only then to be given away to friends or the local charity shop.
Whilst recently going through some of my cash back websites I noticed that Wilkinson's were available on line with a small amount of cash back. Great I thought I can buy what I need only and stop wasting so much money.
So off with pen and paper I set checking through my bathroom and kitchen cupboards then to the shed to see what ...

Advantages: smells lovely Disadvantages: a bit expensive
~
Obviously the price will vary depending on where you shop. Wilkinsons are currently selling this for £1.38 for the 750ml bottle and £2.65 for the 1.5l bottle.
~Overall Opinion~
I was quite impressed with this, it had a lovely smell, and was a lot more noticeable on my clothes than previous fabric conditioners I have used, and would say it is the nicest one I have used so far. Because of the price, I am not sure I will go back to using fabric softener full time, but I might buy a bottle of this to use now and again. I am looking forward to using my sample of Comfort tropical's other fragrance 'tempting nature', and just hope it's as good as this one.

Now that my daughter has two hamsters I tend to buy their needy items in larger packs so that they not only prove to hopefully being a little cheaper but also so that they last longer, not that your average hamster has a massive appetite I hasten to add.
I normally buy all hammy products in my local Wilkinson store as I shop there on a regular basis and they offer quite a vast range of pet products at excellent prices. However on my last trip around my local Poundland shop I noticed that they too are starting to bring out a range of pet food and accessories from dog leads and tins of food to fish flakes and squeaky toys. At the end of the display to my delight I found a huge bag of Hamster and Gerbil mix weighing in at 1.25kg!
I can vouch for the fact that my hamsters at least are not the slightest bit fussed that it doesn’ ...
