Wilkinsons (Shop)

Wilkinson (Wilko) Wilkinsons (or Wilko I will call it throughout this review), is an ever growing company that most people know of. Their stores stock most of the items you'll find in big retail stores including Boots, B&Q & WHSmith, but at cheaper prices on most items. Everytime I go into town I always go into Wilko as it's one of those bits & bobs shops that I always like to mooch around in. It's like you find something in Wilko that you have searched everywhere for & there it is, standing on the shelf. In the great Californian gold rush it was the guys selling the shovels that got rich, better to be certain of a sale than leave it to good fortune, which is why the budget stores like Wilkinson's are doing so well in recession. Until recently middle-class people wouldn't be seen dead in discount stores but now they have no choice but and are secretly enjoying the value, if you were to ask me. In fact the likes of Lidl and Netto plan huge store roll-outs off the back of their new growth from the better healed customer. Wilkinsons.In my local town centre we have a Wilkinsons store which I love!I don't ever not go into Wilko's as there is always something or another that I will need. Just yesterday I went in for some shampoo and easter eggs!Wilko's sell a massive range of stuff, from food to garden furniture, it really is a one stop shop. One of my favourite bits and bobs shops is Wilkinson's. I love shops that stock bits of all sorts and wherever I go and there is one I will go in and take a mooch about. I did work for them at one time and I hated it and quit after a couple of weeks years ago infact but I may have hated working there but I've never stopped shopping there lol! I would just like to write a review on Wilkinsons, a shop that in my own opinion in a lot of ways has actually in fact taken over from Woolworths since its demise a short time back. The shop that I am writing about is in Plymouth, in a little shopping centre on the northern edge of the main Plymouth shopping centre that is known locally as the Armada Centre.
