Poo Bags!
Advantages Colour, Strong, Thick
Disadvantages 20 for £1 isn't that good value
I have 4 dogs and walk them twice a day on the days that i'm home, which means that on an average day i'll pick up atleast 8 lots of dog poo! Lovely. I always pick up my dogs mess as it's very unhygeinic to leave it in the field or on the pavement as diseases and worms are spread through the poo. I usually use nappy bags which work out not too expensive, but i find the nappy bags to be a bit too thin and decided to get some actual doggy bags. I buy alot of pet products from wilkinson's so decided to have a quick look in there and quickly found this pack of 20 dog poo bags for £1, which is decent value however cheaper ones are available.
The packaging is simple and is grey and plastic with a sticky-on piece of thin plastic like paper which peels off to give access to the bags which are easy to pull out individulay with ease and the plasticy paper sticks back down. This is blue and white with a picture of a golden retriever with 'dog toilet bags' written on the front in large clear writing and states the amount of bags it contains above this (20). Overall the packaging is minimalistic but clear and it's obvious what the packet contains. The bags aren't perfumed or scented so they don't disguise the smell much but as they are quite thick they do a good job at containing the smell and keeping the poo contained. Picking up poo with the bag is easy and i just slip the bag over my hand, pick up the poo and fold it up, tie the handles and put it in the bin. Quick, easy and simple. I have not experienced any tears or leaks with these bags and they hold a decent amount of poo! Dog bags are usually black but these ones are purple which is a nice little unique factor as not many dog owners i've seen have purple poo bags lol. The handles at the top of the bag make it easy to tie up the bag to contain the poo and are easy to hold and don't snap.
Overall these are a good product. The only downside is that they're not bio degradable and the price. Although they are good quality i feel that £1 for 20 bags is quite alot compared to other dog bags available and i now buy Bob martin dog bags which contain 50 bags for £1 and they're equally as good quality. The only unique thing about these bags is the colour, but this doesn't make me want to buy any more. Very average product.
