I am pleased that they are still selling Windolene. This has been around for many years and although I use different spray window cleaners I do still like to use this every now and again tough I have none in at the moment. This can be bought from the supermarket and the last time I bought a bottle it was £2.45. I think this is a very fair price to pay because it lasts a long time and no matter how long I keep it for it never seems to go off.

It comes in a lovely bright pink looking bottle, which is quite plain but familiar looking. There is 500ml inside and this lasts a long time. I always make sure I give the bottle a very good shake before I use it though as you have to make sure all the ingredients are mixed together, especially if it has been standing in my cupboard for a long time and it hasn’t been moved.

It is very easy to use by just putting it onto my cloth and then wiping the windows over with the cloth. I have been using this for years and my daughter uses it every now and again as well. I rub it well over my windows and then I get another cloth to wipe them over. This takes a lot of elbow grease to make sure that all the cleaner has come off and that it has left no nasty marks behind or tell tale streaks, but I am not afraid of hard work.

Once I have finished my windows look sparkling clean and always think it has been worth the effort of all that rubbing and polishing. Although I do still like those spray glass and window cleaners I never think that my glass looks as clean as it does when I have used what I think is a ‘proper’ window and glass cleaner, which is Windolene. I don’t think they will ever stop selling this because it is still very popular with people.

I also use this sometimes to clean my mirror over my fireplace and in the hallway but I tend to mainly use it for window cleaning. It is a lovely product that works very well indeed and I recommend it to you.
