You will be amazed what your Ctrl Key pressed with another button can achieve. Or Even your Windows Key which you may have never touched because you never knew what it did.
It takes a while to remember how to open a program, or use a spreadsheet using your keys, but with time and practice your mouse will really seem like distant memory.

Judge a book by its cover?
Well this books, cover does give the potential reader an appealing introduction to him self, with a glossy cover with the title in bold big writing in both red on a white background on the top half and black font on a red background on the bottom half of the front cover.
Is beauty skin deep?
The book has the usual jargon at the front of it, with the contents definitely giving the impression that this book gives you lots of information. But with a quick scan through the book at first glance I could tell that none of the areas in the book are covered in great detail.
Although personally that is not a fault I am not a big fan of long-winded reference books when I’m only looking for a small bit of information.
The book is clearly layout with a font size of approx. 10 pt. Although the book does contain diagrams, they are all in gray! Which is slightly disappointing when you see the signs of a modern cover with the sense of it being illustrated in such a way inside as well as out.
In their defense though, the content of the book it is not really necessary to have lots of lovely glossy pictures, I’m just a big kid who hates to read but loves the pictures!
The book does state at the beginning in the introduction that the book is not one to give you help nor guidance on how to use Word, Excel or suchlike. It is only to give keyboard shortcuts in the most simplistic terms it can. This lives up to being true with short chapters in a basic format.
Have I learnt much?
To be honest, yes I have. For the line of work I am interested in keyboard shortcuts are a must. I have searched high and low on the internet to find websites giving such information, and although I hunted out many none of them covered everything.
So I decided to stop being a freeloader and actually buy a book with the relevant information needed.
That was a challenge in itself, it seems that not many places stock such books, not even computer shops to my surprise.
My final shopping destination and hope of finding such a book was Amazon.co.uk and to my delight they did supply such a book.
How much? (I hear you cry).
The book was £8.99, but the great thing about Amazon is that they have a used book section so if you’re in luck you’ll be able to get this book at a bargain price.
Overall Impression
I have already discussed most of my personal opinion on this book above. I am glad I purchased it, because it was great for what I needed it for.
It may not be everyone’s idea of a helpful book especially if you’re fully attached to that adoring mouse of yours.
It’s also a wise idea to remember that the keyboard shortcuts will not work with all operating systems and so it is only advisable to buy for those of us out there with Windows XP and Office 2003.
You will be amazed what your Ctrl Key pressed with another button can achieve. Or Even your Windows Key which you may have never touched because you never knew what it did.
