...ARGOS WINTERWARM ELECTRIC BLANKET.
We have always used hot water bottles before, but Liz, my daughter uses an electric blanket now. She has had 2 single electric blankets, both from Argos. The first one was a Morphy Richards which was good while it lasted, until it automatically cut out for safety reasons. I think it had been left on a high setting for too long, which was understandable when Liz’s room doesn’t have double glazing and gets really cold in winter. We were supposed to send the blanket back to the manufacturer to sort it out, but the packaging costs etc made it more worthwhile to get a new one. Her grandma bought one for her a ‘Winterwarm’ Fleecy All Night Electric Underblanket for £19.95. Very luxurious and fleecy as opposed to the old one, it’s like sleeping on top of a sheep – I...

warm in bed Review ofArgos Electrical Blanketsby
ramblingrose
Advantages: keep warm at night, automatic timer, Disadvantages: none
....
Argos had a small selection of blankets and I plumped for a middle of the range one. The Winterwarm blanket is one that goes under the sheets so that you are lying on top of it. It cost me £39.99 for the double bed version, which I thought was a reasonable price considering there are many that cost over £50.
The Winterwarm is a good size it fits the double bed, but doesn't reach the edges. It is held secure by strips of fabric that you tie in place under the mattress to stop the blanket slipping in the middle of the night.
There is a control pad on the blanket so that you can set the automatic timer to come on when you want and also to set your heat preference. There are six settings to choose from and whatever you set the blankets inbuilt heat sensor will work with your own body's temperature and the temperature of the room to ensure...

Snuggle up. Review ofWinterwarm Heated Under Singleby
smcccc
Advantages: Heats up quickly. Disadvantages: None.
...I bought my Winterwarm (Morphy Richards) Heated single Under Blanket about 2 years ago for the single bed in my spare room,
and although the blanket was bought for when friends and family stay over, I did use it myself last winter when my double bed blanket decided to konk out.
The blanket measures 122 x 61cm or 48 x 24in and is the sponge clean only version,
it comes in an off white colour and is made from a tight knit man made material which is really quite soft to the touch.
The blanket is very easy to fit and when laid flat on the bed you will find attached to the sides are the power cord and control, and the ties,
The ties are used to secure the blanket to the bed which is simple enough to do .
I use my blanket directly on the mattress and then have a fleece mattress protector on top and then a flannel sheet and with all...
