Witch Stick
What is it? This is a stick which you rub over spots to make them go away. It's that easy and it really worked on me! It soothes the skin and kind of calms down the spot. I have used it many times now and it really works.
Why did I buy it? I am 21. By the time I was 18, the spot-problem went down and I was quite happy and didn't need to spend money on face washes and all that anymore. Then I had a liver-transplant and have to take immune-suppressants, and now I have the skin of a teenager once again and have to put just as much care into it. If I let it slip for a two or three days, my face is covered in big, inflamed, hurting spots. When I was on holiday over Easter, I decided that I need to try out a new product because I still hadn't found a product that I can really rely on. While shopping at Tesco, I had a quick look around the beauty aisle and found the Witch stick. The buying appeal was the nice packaging and the cute tree-logo and I just felt like this could be the thing for me.
How does it work? The stick itself is is 6cm tall and pretty much works like a chapstack - you take off the cap, than push the underside of the stick and the 'stone' comes up. What I am calling the 'stone' is a little block only slightly harder than a chapstick. You then take the stick and rub the part that came out over your spot. I usually do it in the morning before I put moisturizer on and then again in the evening after I took my make up off. If you have time in the evening, I recommend doing it even more often - the more often you do it, the quicker the spot will go away. Putting it one feels quite cooling and it may feel tingly, but not burning.
The packaging This stick comes on a piece of cardboard that is folded into a little books at the lower end. Just like the stick itself, it is of a calming tourqoise colour. On the piece of cardboard, it says "Witch - natural beauty - Stick - Triple Action". The "Triple Action" stands out in a red square. On the little box that contains the stick it says "Fights Spot causing bacteria - Breaks down excess oil - Targets and help dry imperfection". Under this writing there is another, longer red square that says "Targeting" and under that we can read "with natural witch hazel". On the back of the packaging, we get some more information. "All Witch products have been formulated to enhance your natural beauty. Our range of Cleansing, Hydrating and Targeting products include extract of natural Witch Hazel to leave skin feeling sensationally clean and healthy looking." There is some more information about how it works. We get to know that the Witch stick is "the ultimate in blemish control" and that you can "dab on as often as you want" and that it is best to start when the blemish begins to appear. The witch stick is generally for all skin types, but "especially oily/combination skin".
"As with all skincare products use with caution on sensitive skin."
Witch products are not tested on animals, which is a big plus in my eyes because I am heavily against it.

Where to buy it I found witch at Morrisons, Tesco and at most Boots drugstores. The price is pretty much the same everywhere - about 4 pounds.
My experience As I have really bad problems with spots, you can imagine I need something strong. I am so glad I found the Witch products and especially this stick. If you have 4 massive, red spots in your face that almost resemble dents, you can easily get very depressed because it will leace you feeling very ugly. The Witch stick is really quick. It usually takes me two days where I use it twice a day. A couple of times, the spots even vanished over night after I used it and if they were big, inflamed ones, they'd at least go away on the third day. I am really satisfied with this products and have also bought the face wipes, pore gel and face wash by Witch - it works miracles.
Conclusion 5 stars for Witch!! They will rescue you from a nasty spot that appears once a while, but they will also help if you have heavier problems like me. I think this stick is for everyone and is worth the money as it will last you pretty long!

WITCH
Witch comes in different forms, from wipes, face wash, facemask, gel, moisturiser and toners. Witch's main ingredient is Witch Hazel, found in damp woodland areas in Northern America and used by the American Indians as a medicinal plant. The Witch Hazel Plant is known for its astringent and anti-inflammatory properties which both help with skin care in reducing the redness of spots and soothing irritated skin. All witch products ... ...with the name Witch emblazoned on the front with green leaves stemming from the T in witch. The wipes are in a see through packaging, which I like as I can see the wipes and get a good idea off the texture and how it will feel on the skin. The last thing Jess needed was a rough wipe, wiped over her skin. I needed something that would clean her skin as she wasn't keen on cleansers so opted for the wipes then went for the Witch Stick to cover afterwards.

Advantages: gets rid of blemises and spots quickly Disadvantages: the tick is a little small for what you pay for
...there is a solution, a witch stick. This is the only spot treatment (apart from my facemasks) that I use. If you have a spot, a huge red one, it can change it from a big red one, to a white head so that it can be pooped (the safe way) by you. If you only have a few that need cleaning up, it will work miracles. Like most spot treatments, you may need quite a bit of time for the product to work, whereas other people can get rid of half their spots ... ...witch stick is in a sea coloured blue box and is rectangular in shape. ==witch Stick==
witch is a company that sell beauty products such as face washes and spot sticks. Their products are sold in supermarkets, chemists, stores like Boots etc.
This little spot stick comes packaged in a blue box with white writing and shades of pink and green. The box I have is slightly different to the one in the picture, I think mine must be the newer version, but I think they are both still the same product.
===Why did I buy the ... ...do?===
On the box, the witch stick claims to "The ultimate in blemish control, Witch stick helps to break down excess oils and fights the bacteria that cause spots". It apparently targets the spot and helps dry imperfections.
The stick contains witch hazel which I have used many times when I have had a bruise, I always find it works really well! Even though it doesn't smell very nice, I think witch hazel is great!

Advantages: Relatively cheap, small and compact. Disadvantages: Ineffective and can irritate skin.
...attempt it nonetheless. Witch Stick is a tiny sky blue plastic stick about the size of a tube of Lypsyl and thick as your average thumb. It’s main purpose – to prevent and get rid of nasty spots, zits, blackheads… you name it. As the official description on the packaging states it’s ‘formulated with natural witch hazel and an anti-bacterial ingredient, helps combat the conditions that cause spots, blemishes and other minor skin irritations’. So the ... ...is. When I bought the Witch Stick I did so on the assumption that it contained tea tree oil or the likes since many spot treatments are based upon it. Alas there is no mention whatsoever on the packaging to suggest even the smallest inclusion of tea tree. For those interested to know… it’s made up of alcohol denat, aqua, sodium stearate, glycarin, propylene glycol, hamamelis virginiana extract (the scientific name for Witch Hazel), cetyl alcohol, ...

...spots. Plus I have a Witch face wash which seems to work okay so I decided to give this a go.
In terms of size and appearence I can't really fault this product. It is about 4 cms tall and about the same diameter as a 2p coin. It is the same colour as all the Witch products - a light bluey - greeny colour. Written on the product are the following claims :
* Helps to combatt the conditions that cause spots, blemishes and other minor skin irritations
... ...enlarged pores
Pretty good I thought! To be honest the packaging is pretty plain but I dont really mind this as I personally didnt want something really loud that stood out! Its size means it will fit into pockets/handbags etc. Handy!
To open the product, you unscrew the lid and are met with a pretty blue stick that can be pushed up from the bottom, very similar to a pushpop! To apply this product, you simply wipe it across the affected areas. ...

Advantages: Cheap, Works Pretty Well, Smells Nice Disadvantages: May Sting The Problem Area
Witch is a facial cosmetics brand which concentrates on the clear skin market. The company makes money by introducing brands to the market which use extracts of the Witch Hazel plant which has been proven to deal with skin problems from acne to skin sores. The most famous product by Witch is the 'WitchStick' spot zapper which is a small stick used to dry out spots within hours of applying.
The latest idea from Witch is to use its product as a gel form. Witch Clear Pore Gel comes in a 35ml bottle and is advertised as 'keeping pores clear to help prevent spots.'
What it does-
Instantly absorbs deep into your pores, cooling your skin and dissolving excess oils. Deep cleanses by tackling the source of blemishes.
What you do-
Every night after you've washed your face, dab a little Witch onto problem areas. Whilst you sleep the gel ...
Advantages: Cute bottle, great on spots! Disadvantages: Stings for a second or two.
I have at last found the wonder product! I have tried numerous spot treatments and have favoured witchstick until now (but the area of application was far too big, I have spots not volcanoes).
I'm 22 now so the spots I have are small but I still tend to have three or four on the go at a time! (yuck!). Also being that bit older I don't worry so much about them but still, they arn't pretty.
I stumbled across this in Tesco's this week and was at first put off by the price but thinking of all the parties coming up i dared to give it a go. It costs £3.95 for 10mls. The only other thing that put me off was the excess packaging, as you can see in the picture there is an extra flap containing all the info, all very well but there wasn't any need for that much.
Moans aside the pack is actually quite attractive. It is turquiose and white ...
Advantages: Clears up skin fast. Disadvantages: Little on the expensive side.
I am prone to getting spots and blemishes and there the last thing you want when you have an important meeting or a special occasion. The one thing you need is a product that will clear your skin up quickly and sucessfully and here is one that will do just that. I was very impressed after using 'Witch Hazel Gel' because only just after a few days I noticed there was a considerable difference to the clearness of my skin. This gel is easy to apply, dries quickly and really works hard to clear up your skin. This product is especially helpful on greasy skin or a teenages skin. Although its partner 'Witch Hazel Stick' isnt quite so good, its still worth spending those extra few pounds on. Definatly worth paying the price. ...
