I used to dread cleaning my car because cleaning the alloy wheels seamed to take all day,I used to have multi spoked alloys and getting in between the spokes to remove brake dust,tar and built up grime was a right pain in the back side.
I had tryed all them other products such as sprays and foams that you apply ,leave for a minute or two then wash off ,They removed some of the dust and grime but still left some on the alloy even after re-applying a couple of times.
So i thought i will get some proffesional help so i popped down to my local car accessory shop and asked for some advice, The sales assistant was very helpful and recomended i try this product called wonder wheels it cost £7.99 and was in a silver coloured box with pictures of examples of alloys before and after
So when i got home i had a quick look at the box and it seemed to be reccomended by motoring organisations such as Tvr,mg club etc,So to opening the box inside there was a bottle of 500ml wheel cleaner 1x bristle brush 1x pot
The instructions said to pour a small amount of wheel cleaner into the pot then using the brush dip into the pot then apply to wheel,brushing over any built up grime helping the cleaner brake it down But beware of any splash backs as the wheel cleaner is acid based and i can amagine its not going to do your clothes any good also put a plaster on any cuts you ve got on your hands because if you get this stuff on a cut it stings like hell(Trust me i know from experiance)
Once you ve done the whole wheel leave for a minute then rinse off and dry with a cloth the finnished artical is superb the wheels look brand new with not a lot of effort
Wonder wheels is slightly more expensive than other wheel cleaners but other wheel cleaners aint as good
Wonder wheel is nt suitable for use on Split rims,Damaged laquer,Chrome plated or Un laquered wheels
