I didn't make the 'switch' until my daughter was ten months old, had i known about 'pocket nappies' sooner (i'd previously dabbled with two part systems with my son) i'd have used them from birth.
The wonderoo nappy is what is classed as a birth to potty reusable nappy and is thus highly adjustable. they come in a wide array of colours and are very adjustable.
On a smaller baby they can look a bit bulky and messy yet i've foudn that as my baby has grown they have become one of my favourates. the inserts they come with are fantastic and at 14months old i still don't need to add any other insert for my daughter, if we're going out i occasionally wrap the insert in a micro-fibre cloth before stuffing.
The popper sysytem is very simple and easy to use. the rise is popper adjustable to grow with your baby and the nappy itself fastens with poppers. In my experience poppers are preferable over applix, as older babies can and will take applix nappies off!
The inner is fleece which keeps babies bum dry at all times allowing liquid to pass through it and imo is much preferable over suedecloth which stains.
The wonderoo nappy offers a very economical option to reusable nappies, it's always priced competatively, looks good, comes in many colours and most importantly is reliable, i even managed to use one over night with no wicking or leaks!
