Advantages NONE
Disadvantages TOO MANY TO MENTION
We have had a Woolwich Openplan Reserve Mortage account for over 10 years. Then Barclays took over. Weare not allowed to go to our local branch to pay money towards our Visa. Now got to put our money into our cheque account at another Bank, THEN write a cheque and post it to them. THEN they take our payment off our mortgage instead of our Visa. THEN return it and we have to write another cheque and when you phone they pass you from 1 phone No. to another, costing you time and money
Now my husband and I have had the embarrassment of using our cards in shops and they have been declined. I never liked Barclays, and did not want to have anything to do with them.THE'RE CRAP - stay clear of them
